In relation to manga/anime, my biggest WTF moment was when I finished watching Akira at two in the morning. Or possibly the last few episodes of Berserk, also in the wee hours of the morn.

My most recent WTF moment irl was actually a few hours ago, when my cat wouldn't stop shoving her butt in my face. After a few minutes, my mom came in and cracked up. Apparently, she was trying to mate with me. Good god. I've heard of male dogs, but... female cats?!

The setup - (skip this, if tl;dr)
During this last Winter Break, I had 2 extra weeks off. Since everyone else was still in school and parents/adults don't get a break of any significant length, I was pretty much all on my own. I started going crazy and talking to the things in my house like my laptop and the stove (similar to Welcome to the N.H.K., but without the drugs), to help take my mind off of it, I messed up my sleeping schedule so that I was awake during the nighttime.

The WTF -
One night I decided that I wasn't working out enough, and I would be out of shape when Track rolled around in the spring, so I went running at 2AM. I was running through this gravel/dirt parking lot, and guess what I saw? I guy, standing on top of his Honda Element, hitting golf balls into the brush with a wood driver. WTF? I mean, it was 2AM on a Tuesday. Didn't he have work? At least what I was doing at 2AM was normal at some point in the day, but that was weird regardless of the time of day.

I am not prostrate. I am looking at the sky on the other side of Earth.

Try thinking those were for therapeutical purposes, it somehow lessens the trauma. I was a little kid then and only recently realized the purpose of "that weird thing" 🤢
