Manga Set in India or Starring Indians

I'm Indian, so I'm naturally interested in manga about India or with Indian characters in it. I'm so eager to find manga like this that I'll be okay with any genre, really.
I can only think of Saitou Chiho's Waltz in A White Dress, about a half-Indian spy, and the Indian prince from Emma.
Please recommend any others to me, and thank you for your time.

There's Kuroshitsuji, but they're side characters and only have a big role during the curry arc.

Thank you very much, CatzCradle. I haven't read any of those, so it gives me plenty to enjoy! Please recommend anything from any genre...
Initially I would think that I'd rather not read hentai, but frankly I'm confused... Does hentai include anything that's explicit or is it just pornography? For example, the Kama Sutra is a very respected Indian text, and... well, it's only about sex, but it isn't quite pornography. Actually, it's definitely not pornography. Would it still fit into a "hentai" definition? If so, then I wouldn't mind hentai of that kind. But if not, then... Um, no. I don't want to read pornography.

The only one I can think of is Koucha Ouji . It has an Indian character who plays a fairly large role through the manga.

Regarding you question:
Hentai is a Japanese term that refers to manga.
Just like porn, indeed, only Japanese...
I'm not sure if they call the real thing hentai though.
As for the Kama Sutra...
Well, since it's not Japanese I doubt calling it hentai would be correct.
Also since it's literature.
It's kinda like calling Western gay novels (or even Western gay comics) - yaoi.

I'd call it... Unconventional (for our "modern and regressed" times) lit. 😀

trinity blood has an indian character in it, Lilith, though she appears only a couple of times in flashbacks

I'm actually quite surprised to see so many manga with Indian references or characters! Thank you to everyone who replied. 🙂
As for hentai, it seems that it is just pornography, so I'll stay clear of it. I'd looked up a definition on Google and it had said "sexually explicit comics," or something to that effect, so I thought that perhaps it wasn't just pornography, but possibly something of artistic merit. Since it isn't, I'll just avoid it. Many thanks again to those who clarified that point.
Speaking of Koucha Ouji, it seems that its translation has been abandoned at chapter 6, despite a much longer 25-volume length. Does anyone know whether there are plans to resume translating it? Thank you very much.

Gunsmith Cats has for the main character an Indian. Some adult situations as a word of caution, but nothing extreme.

Can't believe I forgot, since it's one of the most amazing stories ever. Thank you for reminding me. I'll have to re-read it. It's there in the local library!

I know one that's set in fantasy!India. Hanatsuki Hime
The art is so beautiful and you can tell by the clothes, the setting, etc, that it takes place in India. It's a pretty good fairytale.

I didn't read above if you mind BL so I could suggest Maharaja to Watashi. It is not scanlated yet so I couldn't know if the Maharaja is a real Indian. 😉 I saw raw scans and I didn't see explicit content anywhere. It is shounen-ai or very mild yaoi (mainly kisses).
