Question for Both Genders
How long does it take in a relationship to say "I love you" and If someone does say I love you to early will that harm your relationship?
I don't think "love" should be said easily to anyone else other than family. People can have different views on what love is. But I think most of the time they just assume lust as love.
I believe love can only be said after a couple have been together for a while and feel the other party is a natural part of their lives - sort of like soul mates and a mature version of committed relationship. I think I said that before on this thread. Those who say love easily to anyone other than a family is not to be trusted. "I like you" is more appropriate when they are just dating.
I am sure some people, esp. younger ones (of course some older ones too) say "I love you" just because they like to act melodramatic. There's probably no specific meaning in this line.
I have never liked most shoujo romance manga since I was very young. But I believe they like to make characters say "I love you" or "love ____ [insert name]" simple because they want their manga appear melodramatic (Let's face it, a lot of shoujo manga of the 80's, 90's and 00's are all like that). It can be one of the worst shoujo cliches and I believe was mentioned in the "worst shoujo cliche" thread. That's also one of the reasons I don't usually read shoujo romance.
But that could be a Japanese cultural thing. Their view on love is different from mine. If so, I can't blame them.
It also annoys me that in some yaoi manga they also say "love" easily or for no reason. 😮

I am not a boy but I believe beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. No need to be jealous of others because everybody has their individual style. Individualism should be appreciated.

Can you rephrase this question so I can understand it. It's not making any sense to me.

Most boys have no idea how to quantify male beauty (Or however you'd like to phrase it). Typically, a boy might be jealous of another guy if a girl they like gives the other guy more attention.

What? Guys don't ever look at another guy and think:
"Wow, he good-looking. I bet all sorts of girls find him attractive." (or something)?
I know I do that with other girls/women all the time. I can appreciate someone else who's cuter/more attractive than me.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

Is that what was asked?
Well, Its never the first, second, third, fourth, or fifth thing we think about after we see another guy. If it ever comes to mind at all. Being jealous towards some guy would involve a possession he has that I don't or the women he has that I don't. Myself, I tend to get over it once he's out of sight, driving away in his expensive car. We don' t put a lot of stock into the looks of other men, for the most part. We do like looking good, but it isn't a top priority to look better than the guy next to us.

I didn't intend to ask it in the context of the previous question - I'm just asking for my own curiosity at this point. Not that I would expect it to be your first thought when looking at another guy, but do any guys ever think like that?

I have done it, but I would be wrong.

It would be more accurate to say guys are likely to focus in on a single attribute that they find desirable. "I wish I had a body like him", or "I wish I had that sort of cleft chin" or "I wish I had those eyes". It's a focused jealousy.
The men who are actually attractive, I've noticed, are not explicitly recognized by guys. They find themselves drawn to and appreciative of these people, but don't make the connection to sexy. That's why many times guys idolize the same men women find attractive.

Not really. If i see another guy who's really good looking then i'd probab'y think 'wow he has nice features' and never think about it again. HOWEVER, like x0mbiec0rp says, if that guy was seen around the girl i liked or the girl i liked started giving him more attention, i would start to get jealous of whatever feature/personality that attracts her attention.
I also have a question. If you were to find out that your friend of the opposite gender has a crush on you (maybe they confessed) but you harbor no such feelings or are unsure of you feelings for them, would that realization jeopardize the friendship? what if they were a close friend vs just a friend?

I do that with a lot of girls. If i see a pretty girl, i would probably would tell them to their face. Its not a bad thing checking out the same sex.

I would handle it in a unique way. Its by acting brain dead. My male friend and i joke around alot and he knows alot about me. We'd would talks for hours on the phone. I'm not into relationships for so many reasons but he asked me out. I said no, knowing that he was serious. Even though we were friends for so long and i didnt want to lose someone important to me. So the next day he hasn't said a word to me. So here is my braindead plan comes to use, i pretend like nothing happen.I said the most dirties jokes i had, While the akawardness was gone, i told him that he was my best friend and i don't nothing to change. So we are still friend (rite now as i am typing he is talking to meh XD )
Just wondering.....
Question for both genders
Do you find it cute or annoying if your partner is being jealous?

Its only cute if they aren't being serious. Otherwise, they've got trust issues.
