i just argued this with my indian and asian friends the other day

i wouldn't consider myself smart im more lazy and resourceful, last time i did homework was in the 4th grade. ill just copy somebody else's homework and memorize it and if we have test,ill just search for somebody who is humble and make them laugh and ask them to cheat of their sheet. i know its wrong but thanks to that im passing with flying C's!!! (not saying that in a good way)

i wouldnt know what to label myself as. i had mostly A's and a few B's in my freshman and sophomore years, raising my cumulative up to 4.167 or so. and then i hit junior year. i took Spanish 3, AP calculus, AP biology, APUSH, AP english, and computer graphics, and slacked and got 4 C's at the semester. i still ranked about 26 out of 350 i think, even with the regret-it-for-life crippling blow to my pride, as well as my possible future; but looking back now i guess i can label myself an idiot for making that mistake. 🙁

yep i'm also striving to get into an engineering university, although i'm straying from my course because of senioritis... and i'm only a junior. D: but i don't have much confidence in my ability to get me into a good engineering school 🙁

I've been told by many I'm quite smart and could be top of my classes, I just have no work ethic. It does sound like a generic thing to say to any student who is slacking off though.
