book-smart - yes. otherwise, probably no. I am hyper, bubbly, and probably have little common sense. Basically "don't follow in my footsteps. I walk into walls" - literally.

I guess I am. I absolutely despise math and refuse to study, so I always do poorly in math courses (Lots of C's in math) even though if I actually did commit a little bit, I would prboably do pretty well. I do good in every other course though without having to study at all, or rather I refuse to study, but I still get A's and B's as long as I dont have to do a lot of homework.
Im also taking 4 AP classes this year, and they are all extremely easy, I feel like I could probably pass the test for 3 of them right now without much trouble. Unfortunately I have never taken an Economics class though, so that AP class is a bit annoying, that and it feels like the teacher is trying to teach us like regular students.

Well, I hope this won't sound that I'm bragging~.~ 🤨
I can say that I am smart.. I always get high grades without much effort..
But of cource I have my weaknesses.. My spelling suckes(in English.. not my first language..)
And I'm not the best at stuff like math and physics...
And unfortunatly I have poor health~.~
I can also say that I'm smart outside the world of the books..
But this is not me to deside wheather I'm "life" smart... 🤣
yeah.. (omg, it tottaly sound like bragging 🤢 ;;😉 😐
And basing intelligence on grades is pointless. I know some really smart people that skimmed by in school and are smart as hell, just lazy. On the reverse side I've seen people study their ass off for good grades who were clearly not the smartest in class, just the most determined. Judging people on their intellect rather than the whole package is like judging a manga after reading 1 page, yeah you may get a small taste, but most likely it will turn out differently than you expect.
As for me I think I above the average in intelligence, but I also have the procrastination bug, which had hurt me a number of times.
You just said exactly the same what I wanted to say.You can have a great knowledge but it doesn't confirm you are intelligent. I know a lot of people, who finished their studies with honours, but I just cant stand how stupid and shallow they are.

Kinda smart, I guess? I got into the top university in our country (I'm Asian, btw) without extra studying.... but that's because I'm too lazy to attend review classes. And I'm also too lazy to do school work so I don't get high grades, lol.

lets see I'm asian so does that say enough? Seriously though im book smart and the laziest slacker in the world, when all my friends are frantically studying for a test I'm sleeping, reading manga, watching TV or anime, or running on my treadmill. The next day I still do better than them on the test, though honestly I should stop being a douchy slacker

I'm inbetween.
I'll slack, maybe review things for about 2 minutes, and get an okay score on tests.
What weirds me out is that my friend mispells half the time, yet she gets better grades than me. o_O
Besides, some classes just give you credit on whether you did the homework or not, so I don't think grades are that important...
I am considered smart because 1) I'm asian, thank you. 2) I usually finish tests early. But am I smart? 😔

Yeah, people consider me smart. They're bitter because they figured out that I'm not trying. It was easier to sleep through classes than to hide my lack of effort, though, so that's the route I took.

i've been described as "really smart but doesn't apply himself"
so i get poor grades because i don't turn anything in even though i can do the work.

Hm... I guess you could say I have school smarts. I mean, if I'm taught something directly, I can learn it and memorize it pretty well. So, if you're only going by class types and grades, then yes, I'd consider myself smart (except when it comes to managing my time at home... ><; ).
I don't really have much common sense, though. I also have a tendency to not think below the literal, which can get somewhat annoying. It's not that I can't think metaphorically; it's just that it gets really out of hand, since basically anything can be miscontrued as a metaphor or allegory of some kind.
