Fail. I hate it when people rag on American made cartoons. Cartoons are viewed differently in America. No cartoon aimed at adults is in a drama form because the demographics in the US do not reflect that as an interest as far as animation is concerned. The vast majority of animated media is geared towards children under the age of 13.

Samurai Jack is an excellent show, without comparing it to any other American animated series or to any Anime.

Anyway, I haven't seen Toonami in a long long time. I remember when they had a Space Ghost wannabe hosting. Ah, the good old days.

Ah the old Toonami was awesome (I am going to refer to classic Toonami as everything before a couple years back, circa 2005-2006). Then they just showed anything and everything that's come out of Japan. Shows like Zoids, YuYu Hakusho and DBZ were something to look forward to after school. I also like Teen Titans. It was a damn shame when they canceled it. Even channels like FOX and the WB had stuff to watch after school, like Mega Man, Spider Man, and Batman. Nowadays no one does the block specifically intended for kids and stuff after school or on weekend nights. sigh What a sad world we live in.

No it didnt end, but in one of the episodes you see Jack as an older man finally going to fight Aku

They are classic, for toonami. Toonami was started in the late 90's. And we are going with toonami classic, which was from 97-ish to around 03. and then 03 to now, which is new. I think the oldest they showed was cyborg 009.

It shames me now, but i used to do that as well. minus the dancing. I used to sing at the top of my lungs along with it. A habit i didnt break until around 01. And yes, after thinking about it, i think that would be the only solution.

i kinda wanna watch all those anime again, because i kinda didnt get it when i was little.....but the action was cool and they didnt censor everything! now theres no more blood, or even guns! thats so dumb.
