Sometimes its cute because they are more naive and innocent so its GREAT when its ripped away.

But I hate really stupid female characters that never change.
I have a friend who I am 100% SURE has some form of mental retardation and shes fairly pretty... but she had freaking disciples through highschool. 7 different guys would follow her around and valentines day was every stereotypical manga depiction of candy flowing out of lockers.
Since then I've realized men prefer stupid girls. They ask less questions and open their legs quicker. Being her friend and someone who isn't interested in females stupid chicks are wicked fun to toy with and laugh at. 🙂
For guys. I couldn't stand a ditz. It's just... no. It seems very effeminate and I like manly men that can do their own thing. Stupidity is a weakness.
But this is all just me.

It really depends on the exact definition of "stupid" you're aiming for there. If you mean some kind of mental disorder, then no I don't find that cute, but rather I feel I would be making fun of them that way.
If it's some kind of silliness, I honestly do not find that cute because I prefer people that are not always clumsy or joking around and are more independent like in mind and spirit. There are plenty of others who think opposite of me, and this is just my opinion.

I mean, although I think Italy from Hetalia is very cute, mostly because of his stupid expressions and uselessness, I think he's just an exception. 🤣

Characters like Haruna from High School Debut or Sawako from Kimi ni todoke can be pretty cute. But other than a select few I mostly find the whole wide eyed and stupidly naive character types annoying.

Sweet and naive girls can be kind of cute and sexy sometimes (though I still prefer the brainier type) but ditzy, vapid and just plain stupid tends to get annoying fairly quickly. (And that goes for men as well.)
Essentially, girls with the IQ of a jellyfish isn't really my thing.

Whilst I agree that some men may prefer stupid girls, it's not always the case. (And it's their loss for the ones who do. I fail to see why choosing a pretty girl who has nothing going on inside her head is preferable to a somewhat more average-looking girl with a brain. I mean, I'd go loopy from having to listen to vapid chatter all day. But that's just me, and I'm odd.)
Now, this may just be me and my poor grasp of social norms and interpersonal doh-dah's, but isn't it pretty false and cruel to act as if you're someones friend when you're actually laughing at them behind their back? Wouldn't it be kinder (not to mention timesaving) not to pretend to be their friend at all in that case?

lmao...anyways for me a girl doesn't have to be stupid to be cute. People perceieve cuteness in different ways. For example if a girl who is always in control of the situation, never gets angry etc loses her cool at something small at that time I would think her as being cute. Or a girl who is always open about the way she feels, struggles to say to you that she likes you.Moments like that sort of. cannot really explain it. Stupid girls don't appeal to me and neither do girls who are wayy too smart and think they know everything. Anyways the point of the matter is for me stupid doesn't equal cute.

It's not cute at all. Rather it is pretty silly and annoying both in real life and in manga whether it's a guy or girl that's stupid. Plain stupid girls are not fun at all. But stupid is different from ditzy/clumsy, which maybe could be cute...?
