Plus I can swear in Hungarian...does that count? 🙂

Swearing is the first thing in any language that anyone learns

Yeah but not everyone is an expert 😃 .
I don't even think they're accurate (sometimes I make up my own gibberish) and everyone has their own version -___-'''

@tsuto: You have my respect for classic greek. Greek in general is a really hard (not to mention insanely fast) language, I'm seriously scared of seeing what classic greek is like >.<

I was born speking two languages (hope you understand what I mean 😳 ) and I'm good at studying languages so:
English
Finnish
Swedish
Germany
Korean
And some Chinese and Japanese what we have to study in school.
Korean is very easy language, you should all learn that. 😃

I'm American, so basically English. I took 4 years of Spanish in middle/high school and I'm taking a semester at college (because it's required), but that doesn't mean I can speak it...I just can't seem to grasp other languages and I blame the fact that unless your lucky, you can't take foreign languages until your in your early teens here. I got a touch of German in early elementary school (military) and I know I picked that up better than the Spanish I get now...although all I can do in German now is count to 10...

Pretty much just English, because I'm annoyingly American.

I can understand basic Japanese (enough to get directions and the like and understand what people mean without having to go "wait...could you say that again" over and over), and also some French and Spanish, although I found those languages boring and quit after a semester despite the grades being high with little effort.

I wish I was bilingual though, in fact I'm a bit ashamed of only being able to speak English fluently.

hm.. my first language is English (stupid American-ness), but I've been taking French for too many years to count. I know enough grammar & vocab & etc to speak fluently, understand what people say, and read books in French, but somehow when I go to French-speaking places or when I'm talking with a French-speaking person, I get nervous and blank out a bit. If I ever were to become stranded in France or something, I could most likely get by. =P I'm probably going to find a French forum somewhere and practice. D:

my friend is trying to teach me Chinese. it's not going so well. heh. oh and I took Latin for a while (though not anymore), but you can't really speak Latin, can you?

I intend on learning Chinese and Japanese as soon as I can... which will probably be.. 3 years until I can take Chinese and 4 years 'til I can take Japanese.

English, Chinese, and Latin.

English- Living in america all my life
Chinese- Can understand and speak fluently, have a little trouble reading and writing. First generation Chinese parents who never speak to me in English (though they're quite fluent)
Latin- Er.. I can translate some stuff....

I want to try my hand at japanese in college.
