I didn't even consider Latin.

I wouldn't say that I speak latin, but I studied it and learn it. It helped me so much when I was learning French.

Well, I speak 2 languages fluently, Danish (of course 😀 ) and English.
I speak some German, but not not too much, only what I learned in school when I wasn't skipping 😎 And I can talk a little French
I understand Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic and Faroese (It's pretty normal for us people in Scandinavia to understand what the other is saying 🤣 ) Other than that I am learning Japanese at the moment 😀

I know English (duh!), Spanish (studied for almost 5 years), Italian, Latin, a little of Tagalog.....and i'm teaching myself Japanese/Russian/French ^^

I wanted to take italian or french in school, but i was forced by my new school to take spanish -_-

FarsiEnglish (dur) Learnin Spanish~~ Japanese I've picked up from anime (har =D) and learnin Latin (in English class no less >.> )

Umm I can speak and write Spanish (my native language) and English
I know a litle about French an Italian and some words in Japanese and Quechua (a native language in my country)
But I'm planning to learn more, I love talking in different languages, specially difficult ones 😀

Considering there's now quite a bit of America that uses Spanish, I want to learn that and French - or Cajun French. So those are my two that I really want to learn the most, but of course I really want to learn Japanese and I think it would be cool to understand German because that's my Grandpa's native tongue and he won't teach me. It might have something to do with the fact I sound like a drowning cat when I try to make their 'r' sound, though.

I can read and write in 3 - English, Bengali and Hindi (Indian Languages) though I make spelling mistakes in the later two ... 🙂

I've a feeling I might've posted in this topic already...
Anyway;

1. English - My favourite language!
2. Irish - My native tongue, though I hate it and its becoming extinct.
3. French - I detest French, I was meant to do German but somehow ended up in French...
4. Japanese - Started last year as an after-school subject, it's pretty damn hard (needs to learn Katakana vadly) but I enjoy it far more than French.

At some stage in my life, I'd like to know Spanish as well...

It's the Katakana you're having problems with? I thought it would have been the kanji. I personally found the Hiragana to be easy and the Katakana only mildly harder.

I can speak
-french (mother tongue)
-english (because it's usefull)
-spanish (because of school and a teacher who said that i couldn't have good grade in spanish)
-japanese (because i like it)

i'd like to learn korean and chinese too.

i was raised in 2 languages, polish and german, so i am able to talk/read/write in both languages without any flaws
later in the school i lerned english and on my own, i would say i am at 75%(there is still some vocabulary missing)
and i'm learning japanese on my own, know enough to understand 25% of an anime but i barely know the katakana/hiragana

When I reach college, I want to learn as many languages as they offer. Not all at once, of course, but gradually.

I also like how other languages sound. Yesterday or the day before, I was listening to a song from The Little Mermaid in Dutch. 🙂
