Girls who kick butt! Tsukasa is one of my heroes (heroines...personal hero...oh, you know what I mean) and my ideal girl-among-wolves. Girl-pretending-to-be-a-guy. So many aren't good enough....Tsukasa, on the other hand, is tougher than the majority of guys. Don't let me go on too long here. I've been doing so on and off for months.

yup, that pretty sums up most of my favorite characters, only if I was going for anyone specific I'd have to go with Kyoko off skip beat, shes a combination of strong, weird and a little on the psychotic side (mainly with the demons though, lol)

i prefer the character who's able to stick up for themself and have a strong personality.like kyoko from skip beat (who has been mentioned a few times) every time i read mangas with girly cry-baby caracters, i get so fustrated >:-(

Tsundere characters are the best for both genders. 😀

I like hardcore tomboy girls who are not afraid to kickass they can be stupid too. Funny charas are awesome creepy goth and emo psycic ones are just weird...

I like a delinquent guy who is badass and JERKS or like a cool genius sorta guy. Oh and a hero-type, and pervs!! their usually funny lol

I HATE RETARDED girls who are like "omfg I need a boyfriend or Ill die...hey a prince..oh no hes not a prince kawaaiiiii" I HATE THAT SOOOO MUCH!!

I like the types like Tsukasa from Tokyo Crazy Paradise, the strong types you know, that can stand up for themselves. Or like the character from Grand Sun. And like Kiri from Beauty Pop, with the cool personality. ANd tsundere characters are cool, tomboys are alright too as long as they don't physically look like guys. I like the silent type of guys, and the athletic types too...like Haibuki from Crimson Hero!

Shoujo mangakas should totally just go to this forum and look at what NOT to use for a heroine and what NEEDS to be used so so many people won't post about it here.

My favorite type of character are tomboys. Oh and quiet shy girls and the emotionally detached girls and strong willed girls who chase there dream. I cant leave out the super dense girl(cute) or the girls that go out of there way to help everyone or the normal everyday girl turned supper popular for no apparent reason or.... I don't seem to have a type of character I don't like. My favorite just depends on my mood at the time 🙂

For guys, my favourite characters recently has been the one who always acts as the bad guy, but then will never get the one thing he truly wants since it's so close yet so far. (Like Yahiro from S.A. It's just really pitiful -.-'')
I also really like the really energetic guys too since they bring so much fun to the series since they're usually so loud ^^

And for girls well... my favourite type would be so far the intelligent type of characters who can do almost anything. They also can notice just about everything but are oblivious to the 'really' important stuff. Makes me facepalm in a good way. (Since I just find it so amusing [i.e. Hikari from S.A., Haruhi from Ouran])

Defidently narcisistic guys like Ludwig (Ludwig Kakunei) , or violent ones like Kyouhei (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge), violent girls like Eisul (Red Lion), or the really dark ones like Sunako (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge).

my favourite type of characters (guy) are cool and tomboyish sticks out alot in a crown but a really nice charcter. (girls) i got 2 um ones that are fierce looking and quiet. and the other one just plain quiet and a bit scared sometimes. i get really annoyed by the girls ones that think theyre cute and all stck up they really annoy me .............grrrrrrrrrr
