I like girls who can (literally) kick ass, like the lead from Jun'ai Tokkou Taichou, Perfect Girl Evolution, and Tokyo Crazy Paradise. It would be awesome if I can find a shoujo where the main girl is a high school girl who knows martial arts, but still likes girly things such as shopping and boys. She also doesn't need guys rescuing her a$s everytime and is able to save her own a$s. But that would be near impossible for a shoujo sigh

I like female characters who are independent, spunky and don't need a guy to make their dreams come true.
In general, I like characters who are twisted, insane, macabre, or any combination of the above.

I like girls who are honest, modest, don't put on airs, aren't very girlish.

totally agree!! i also love the character from saver!

I love Arashi from X and Misao from Kamikaze (sorry not a shoujo manga). Thea are beautiful and silent girls with a mysterious aura around them.
So I am trying to be as mysterious as i can be.. 😀
But I also like Airi from Merupuri. Some characteristics of her remind me of myself.. hehe
