Well the title would be quite confusing on what I'm talking about so let clear it up. What i mean would be the manga you like now and from the past differ as you are interested in other genre and level of maturity, as how some manga you read from the past might bore you and manga that you never anticipated to was interested and satisfy you. Or the unique term you still liike what you read then and still now ^^
😛

For me, the description above is like me I continuously change (though it may be my low attention-span) but always those little perks that make me smile manga ^^ 🤣

I will never think those I read when I was a teen are BAD. Dragon Balls is an example. There must be a reason for its popularity. I read manga of different genres and styles now simply because manga on the Internet were not available when I was young. It was hard to find many different manga titles then.

I still like what I read back then to present time.
Though I'm "expanding" my horizons more now. : P

Well said. Same for me although the expansion's a bit slow. I still dont read a lot of stuff, just started to go into senin but it's still romance and comedy for the most part. I still don't read shoujo, horror, pyschological, yaoi, etc.

i don't like yaoi anymore. i just don't want to read it. but when it comes to what i like now, more than a genre i like powerful female leads. (shame lots of manga with powerful female leads have too much ecchi.)

Zomg! Me too! but a lil bit different.....
Back when I was in early teens, I could only get access to mangas licensed by publisher in my homecountry and those are VERY limited.. I used to be very fond of teen-style Msytery, Shounen + Action mangas like Detective Conan, MAR, Rurouni Kenshin and Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo back then..

But after getting access to many many mangas over the internet, I feel that those mangas are pretty Cliche..Unoriginal and Repetitive..

I haven't been reading very long compared to most people here, but my tastes have already changed within just a few months. I've moved on to more mature themed mangas.

Well I haven't been reading manga very long, but I'd say my tastes have stayed fairly constant for the most part if I consider the anime I've watched.

I watched stuff like Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, and a few of the other anime Cartoon Network used to play when I was a kid, but that wasn't enough to make me into a real anime fan, to the point were I would go and pursue the stuff beyond what they showed on TV. The first anime to really get me into the fandom for sure were Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop, both of which are very much in line with my current tastes.

And I've liked yuri stuff since at least as long as I started watching anime on the computer and found out about it, which was a number of years ago, so I wouldn't really call that a change.

I guess the only instance of my tastes for sure changing was with Naruto. I used to love it, now I laugh at it. I don't know if that's the same though.

The only ones I can think of right now that I liked in the past but I don't like now are I"s, Peach Girl, and MAR.

Started out as just another shounen fanboy. After a while, I started moving to romance genre and from there I started reading a lot of manga which broadened my horizons on different genres. The only genres I haven't touched would those concerning hentai and BL.

I was a shoujo-addict when I started to read manga. But on the way, it started to annoy me. Every manga was so typical, and I already read all the outstanding-ones with adventure and action in it. So, I decided that I wanted to read shounen, because every typical shounen had some romance and action in it. But that started to annoy me as well, on the way.
Now, I read almost every genre. I just read everything that sounds interesting.

The first manga I've ever read was Fruits Basket and i really likede it, esp the Tohru-Kyo pairing, I read a lot of shoujo but as people have stated before me, most shoujo tends to get very generic very fast. so i read everything and the only genre that i really like is shounen horror, probably because i grew up reading fairy tales from 1758. I'm not joking either, mhy parents had an ancient collection of books hidden in the basement. none knew what i was doing down there so i spent hours reading, and it had a profound impact on me,which will probably require years of therapy to get over, but i don't care.

I want more character development, though I think that's what most want. I also think drama and psychological elements can help you get into a manga more.

I use to just want action and touch of romance. I find that I'm way more open minded, reading all types. Still action is up high for me.
