And Tobi, coincidentally, also has ONE hole in his mask at his right eye..

Why doesn't Kishi just show both his eyes?

Plus Tobi's hair does look a lot like that of Obito..
And there's also the fact that Tobi wears a mask,.. that adds to the mystery as well..

So technically the sharingan on obito's right side should be gone though i guess thats a speculation. So it's just a guessing game. But I never thought that obito might be alive or his body used by someone. Most likely I thought it would be Uchiha Shisui. The guy Itachi supposedly killed to gain the mangekyou sharingan.

maybe Itachi is somehow glad that there is someone who cares for his brother but after Naruto told him he cares much more for Sasuke then Itachi dies Itachi kind of looked puzzled, like he didn't like that part of the statment....

that's exactly the problem.we never seen him actually die!and we all know that in the narutoverse there is a hit with a boulder prakticaly nothing.and after we've seen Sasori-danna,Kakuzu,Chiyo-baa and Deidara would you really think he can't have an artificial body part?

Yes, but maybe right after that, he got taken out of the ruins, and Madara possesed his body.. After healing it, of course... Then the body of Obito could age normally to what is now the body of Tobi...

But the more I say it to myself the more I think that would be unlikely.. 😛

Listen, you remember the time when the 'Uchiha Police' or w/e knocked on Itachi's door, right? Then they said that they found a suicide note of Shisui,... and the writing looked real enough to be truly his, but then they accused Itachi that he could easily copy it with his sharingan and write exactly the same as Shisui..

He's also being accused of being the murderer of Shisui, because he was the only one being absent, besides Shisui, at the Uchiha Meeting..

Maybe Itachi didn't copy the note at all.. But Shisui wrote that suicide note of his own will.. It was maybe? his plan to fool everyone..

I mainly got this idea from Bleach, when Aizen wrote the letter to Hinamori, and Hitsugaya always thought that the letter was modified or something, but in the end, Aizen was the one who did it himself, because he was the bad guy..

So, this also could be applied to the suicide note of Shisui..

Itachi and Shisui, probably meeted somewhere.. then a whole lot of scenarios could have happened..

• The real Madara comes and claims Shisui's body, to the devastation of Itachi..

• Shisui has found out dark secrets about the Uchiha clan and Uchiha Madara.. and becomes 'evil' himself, he betrays Itachi.. and says the exact same thing to Itachi, as Itachi said to Sasuke..

• Shisui and Itachi began to unravel the dark secrets about the Uchiha Clan.. but they are stopped by Madara, and begin the fight.. in which Shisui eventually dies..

And so much more possibilities, there are..

Could also explain why Itachi doesn't tell anyone of the Akatsuki about Tobi, bcuz I assume, that since Itachi is a genius ninja, he would know that..

About the Mangekyou Sharingan,.. maybe you don't have to kill your best friend.. Maybe it's just to feel the pain and anguish of losing your best friend,.. like Itachi losing Shisui or Kakashi losing Obito...

You may say that Itachi doesn't feel anything for Shisui, but I disagree with that.. Because the day after Shisui died/was murderd, he suddenly attacked fellow Uchiha's and began ranting furiously about the Uchiha clan.. That's was actually the only time when we see Itachi losing his cool.. Also, note that it was SASUKE, who made him calm again..

That shows proof that Itachi favored Sasuke out of all of the Uchiha's..

but they found shisuis body and he was drowned...so it's unlikely he's alive or Madara is possesing his body.the theory Madary possesing Obitos body is more accurate I believe.

I DO agree Itachi favored Sasuke.He still does somehow care for his little brother.Another thing that shows us this is when they meet after Itachi met with Naruto.Would the first thing you say to someone you don't like after you haven't seen this person for 3 years "you got taller..." ? I guess not!

It's actually the same in the whole SasuSaku thing but that would be even more off-topic

I find it much more realistic that the body of Uchiha Shisui that the Uchiha's found was a fake than the idea that someone digged up Obito and cured him. But I'm probably wrong, since what was written on Shisui's death note was something that Itachi believed to be true, so he probably faked the note. I just can't understand one thing. Everyone said that Itachi treated Shisui like a brother and was very close to him, so I can't see him killing Shisui easily. I mean he didn't kill Sasuke. And probably won't though he can.

Yeah, that's what I also find weird..

He probably didn't kill him.. and the real prerequisite to obtain Mangekyou Sharingan is not to kill your best friend.. but maybe through the pain and anguish you feel, when losing your best friend..

Kakashi has Mangekyou Sharingan, and he didn't purposefully kill Obito.. Although it was partially his fault and he still blames himself for Obito's death..

Itachi lied, for w/e reason that is,... Maybe the act of killing his best friend would symbolise to Itachi that Sasuke is prepared to do anything for 'power' and that was just a test of Itach... Just a guess, though..

And Itachi smiled because he was glad that Naruto would go to such lengths for Sasuke.. and that Sasuke is not alone.. and has a friend..

Also, noticed that Itachi never seriously tries to capture Naruto.. althought it's his Jinchuuriki he needs to catch.. Always gives an excuse to Kisame about waiting to capture Naruto..

in Naruto there are actually a LOT of hints of SasuSaku,even in the newer chapters.It's actually the main pairing or you could say that.Even if Yamato and Sai wanted to tell her she has a crush on Naruto I can't believe she has.Or maybe she does but as soon as they meet Sasuke that will be over.Also I guess Sakura most likely wants to protect Naruto.don't forget he's somehow the weakest now(compare what Sasuke and Sakura learnt and what did Naruto)

also, like I said before, you say the "you've gotten taller" quote to someone you like/is a friend and not to someone who is your enemy so Itachi HAS to care for his brother.The whole series is just about the Uchihas so there is something more behind the killing of the clan than Itachi testing his abilities.I give you that the kyuubi could be changing Sasuke just as it is, not just Narutos "ability" how they call it.The kyuubi definitely has something to do with the Uchihas and I believe it's far more than just Uchiha Madara summoning his.

there are obviously more ways to obtain the mangekyou sharingan,otherwise the theory of kakashi just thinking he has the mangekyou would prove right.It's also possible that Itachi didn't find it easy to kill Shisui BUT if you believe the dating of Naruto there are some interesting facts which gave me the idea of another theory:

We all know Itachi is a genius,he became an ANBU squad captain at the age of 13.At that time Sasuke was 7 or 8.Soon after that Itachi killed the clan.now we get to the interesting part: when the series starts Sasuke's 12-13 so Itachi has to be around 18.Shippuuden takes place after 3 years-Sasuke 15-16,Itachi around 20.BUT after the Akatsuki members are told Orochimaru is dead Kisame says he left Akatsuki 10 years ago.But Itachi was the one who went after him and took his arm,right?How could that be when he's 20 and joined when he was 13?My guess is he actually joined at a younger age,when he was 10 or even before that.With this theory true it could be he learned a lot of things from Madara/Tobi and also gave him some information about Konoha or the Kyuubi.What if Itachi learned something that made it possible to kill his best friend and even his whole family after that?Besides Sasuke was too young to be killed and Itachi cared for him so he didn't want to do that,also they need another one with the Mangekyou, the rest is rather obvious I guess

the only problem is that the dates in Naruto are really bad so you can't believe it all.Like Kabuto is older than Itachi but looks far younger.On the other side it's Kishimotos way so it's true and with this my theory is actually proved.Of course it doesn't say what all things behind the story are

yeah,that could also be possible.he got the sharingan at 8,Itachi is really a genius but if Madara became his sensei after that it would be no wonder he became SO strong.and with this he could really get to the akatsuki with 8 years or so...

Sasuke:he learned a better chidori,how to use a katana,now he has some special abilities from the white snake and he can cast some genjutsus as shown agains orochimaru,he just isn't using them as much as Itachi(but he was able to use it on Manda and Juugo,he also used it on Sai),also we didn't see much from him so he propably has some other techniques too...
Sakura:medical ninjutsu which is a lot harder to learn than normal jutsus,she got damn strong and is a great strategist
Naruto:he actually only got a better rasengan which is even hurting him.everything else is thanks to kyuubi

so he is somehow strong but he really seems not to be as good as the other two...

Itachi took Orochimarus arm when he left akatsuki,Orochimaru remembered this when he was loosing against Sasuke

and naruto seems to need the key so Itachi propably knows about that and because of that he waits...that could be
