I am looking for a good gender-bender manga , but not one that involves cross-dressing I'd prefer if it was a body swap or gender swap with romance if possible.

Well, you didn't specifically ask if you wanted shoujo ai / shounen ai or yaoi/yuri at all. I'll give you this shoujo ai because it's all I can think of when I look at the first post.

Oh awesome, I was just about to post about this since I just watched Kampfer a bit ago. Horrible series with terrible echii, but amusing if you got some time to kill. I don't know how the manga is. Umm, besides that. Birdy the Mighty is really good, bit more on the shounen side though.

Orange Chocolate by YAMADA Nanpei has some body swapping between two childhood friends of the opposite sex. It's a slow romance but the main couple-to-be is so close throughout the series that it doesn't annoy you at all.

There's also Gyakuten Honey by TOKEINO Hari. Again it involves gender-crossing body swaps. Sadly, it's been discontinued.

Have you tried the advanced search (Gender Bender + Romance + Body Swap/s) already? It should give you plenty of results.
