Any genre, any style, any length. Looking for a Western-style angel (of divine source, has special powers, preferably has wings or can fly) that falls in love with a human (or vice versa). They could also have an actual relationship.

NO demon romances, please.

For some reason, I can only think of BL examples right now. Such as: The story "Nathaniel" from Nanka Ieyo (most melancholy angel EVAR), From Dusk Till Dawn (amnesiac angel!) and Concrete Garden (freakin' scary carnivorous angel THAT EATS POOR INNOCENT BUTTERFLIES! - ... er, as well as humans).

Idk why, but I'm finding it difficult to discover angel/human romances in other genres. So I'm looking for other genres as well! Angels of death, guardian angels, warrior angels, archangels, divine messengers, cherubs, just random angels of any kind... They're all good. Just NO fallen angels, plz, unless they fall because of the romance. LIKE NICHOLAS CAGE! 🙂

Nephilim John Falls under that category a lot, so far, although all that you discover about it is from Flashbacks. Its not the main-main character, either, but it is applicable to practically all the other characters you learn about.

The 5th and 6th story "To make an Angel" might be appropriate. Its shounen-ai. I don't remember the story but I think he may have been a fallen angel.

And well, someone suggested Angel Sanctuary, but I can't say if it completely fits the category, since the main characters are both angels. (Reincarnated as humans, but still essentially angels.) I don't remember if any of the supporting characters had an angel-human relationship though.

I can only think of a BL one; Tenshi no Tame no Shohousen.
