I've read every single Calvin and Hobbes strip ever. Does that count?

I grew up on American comics.
I'm a Marvel girl. The Mighty Thor was always my favorite. 🙂
I lack creativity. 🙂

So have I.
I also used to read Spiderman, Daredevil and The Green Lantern Comics.
I've read most of the Snoopy and Garfield comics (don't really like Garfield though.) if they count.

Hell yeah. I read all sorts of comics. I like IronMan and the Golden Age Green Lantern(so you know, Justic Society) best in America.
I've picked up a few English(as in England) comics. They have some cool SciFi stuff.
There's some nice stuff from Asia but I think you guys all got that down.
Never seen anything from Australia.
Finding translated versions of other things is a huge hassle, though I do peruse the pictures sometimes. I read a nice Russian comic a couple years ago though I can't recall the title.Oh, and I read one from the middle east a couple years back.
Oh, and YAY comic strips.

I have a lot of comic strip books, including the entire collection of the Calvin and Hobbes strips in various volumes.
If they count, then I've read a lot more titles than I thought 🤣

-_-
so how many of you read watchmen before it came out as the film?
I did twice. Once when it was first recommended to me, and the other time was before I went to go see the movie so I could remind myself of how the story went.
I personally prefer American comics than manga for lots of reasons that would make me an outcast on here if I explain why. 🤣

Well, some of the reasons for me are that I feel that American comic writers at least try to make their story original, where most mangaka look like they don't even care anymore. And the dialogue the characters say are better, because most manga usually have those same lines that you're guaranteed to read over and over (Especially the tsundere and accidental perverts' lines). And the art is better. It's not because it's in color, but because they're more detailed and you could tell that they take their time with it. I know that most mangaka have weekly chapters, but there are some who do monthly ones as well, and to me quality > quantity.
I would have typed more reasons, but I'm recovering from the Swine Flu, and my opinion above isn't really as detailed as I usually do it, so if you have problems or questions, just type them and I'll do my best to elaborate on them.

I used to read some of what's assumed to be typical american comics; but now I read a different kind, no superheroes or anything.
I wish I could read a lot more though. It's funny I have access to a lot more manga that's all the way from Japan than the stuff that's produced here in this country. XD
Maybe I should try harder.
that's partly because Marvel will sue the pants off of anyone they find who is openly distributing their comics for free on the internet. Either that or shut down any sites that do distribute them. That's what happened to a few comic book sites. Comic book torrents are easy enough to find though.
Sarcasm just doesn't work over the internet.
