I'm thinking that most school should have had their prom this month. Anyone want to share their prom experience?

for my school the prom was two months ago. i guessing its because the seniors get out of school a month earlier then the rest of us

Me, an anti-social girlfriendless person, go to prom? Psst, I've never even bothered to go to a dance! I wonder if I missed anything...

My prom was pretty cool, although the music was bad, the dance floor small, and I stepped on a shard of glass while bare-foot, the people were great. My friends and I went in a limo because I am the only one who can drive, and I can't drive stick shift in a floor-length dress with peticoats. Anyway my friends and I were all single so we just danced in a group and had fun. 😀

Prom was pretty tight. I didn't go to mine since my boyfriend at the time was in a grade below me, so we decided (all of our friends from all grades) to go to that one instead. On my own prom night (that i didn't go to the dance to) we camped out on the beach in the Hamptons. My friend Paulie's huge ass Cadillac got stuck in the sand and we had to have it towed. Don't remember much else.

For the real prom, I flew up to NY from FL where I was living, and we took three limos to the party which was way out east on the Island overlooking the water. All us girls were dancing/grinding on each other and we had lots of fun. ^_^ A couple of my gf's actually brought other girls as actual dates...man those were the days. lol

After the party, we took our limos back to our friends' house, split up to our own homes to change, and then drove upstate to stay at my boyfriend's (by then my ex - but still good friend) cabin where we spent the weekend drinking and doing other assorted illegal things. My best friend Jaime and I decided to take the row boat out into the lake, and we were rowing and rowing, but not getting anywhere. We finally gave up and stumbled back up to the cabin, only to have our friend Brett ask if we pulled up the anchor. We were so f*cked up, we never even thought of that, and proceeded to laugh forever. Man, those were good times. What I wouldn't give sometimes to be young and without responsibilities again. lol

I'm in Australia so we don't have our prom (we call it a formal here) until the end of the year. But some of my friends have already picked their dresses out and everything. My plan is to get my sister to make me a dress out of some weird fabric, bit of Hello Kitty maybe, hehe. I'm not that excited about it though.

Oh really schools have Prom this late in the year? My HS prom was in April I believe. <- but that was 5 years ago 😉

My formal/prom is on the 27th. I can't wait 😛 I just got my shoes today and still looking for a suit. Planning to wear black suit, red shirt, black tie...nothing too fancy i guess. My friends are taking a limo/driving. Me the otaku...I'm getting a lift from dad >< but w/e. I'm single(i was planning to take a girl...but still haven't asked >>), but for me, its all about the suit! I mean...how many times in life does a young man get to wear a suit? 😀

I didn't go to the prom. If I have to spend 1000 dollars and be with people I don't really like for a whole night....no thanks.

it's our way of feeling more special 😀 we're that little country down there, not always noticed so we have to change everything so we're specialer than everyone else, lol.

Damn everyone else having their prom's early in the year, i gotta wait till November or something to run around in a big puffy dress, hehe

Pssh you missed nothing. I had three proms ...skipped them all 😀 What's the point I hardly socialize with those people anyways going would have been hypocrasy. Not to mention boring. The truth about prom: It's just something the evil clothing companies came up with at their secret headquarters back in the 30's so that they could have a way to unload all those stupid useless dresses that noone would wear in real life. Think about it 😕

Because, prom is a special thing for most people. It's a celebration of going to college and graduating from high school. Away from friends party. I thought it would be nice to talk about everyone's prom. If you can not comprehend this.....then it's a shame. 🙁
