i wear glasses, tried contact lens once (more likely my sister forcing me into trying them) and well, they are more comfortable, but you have to get used to put them into your eyes 😃

I used to wear glasses for reading/comp/tv. I've had had a massive headaches and while I went to check my sight for my driving licence, I've discovered that I don't need glasses any more. Maybe I never needed them. Sigh, doctors...
But I still have 'em. I'm sentimental I guess.

Umm, I am surprised that so many people wear glasses or contacts, only a handful have good vision...
This is just like the anime/computer geek stereotype.
Or maybe people who don't wear glasses just haven't clicked on this thread?

I have glasses, but on a normal day I really don't need them; I only have bad vision in one eye. Unfortunately its my right eye that I can't see out of so if I were to go practice shooting that would be an issue. I wear glasses to class 'cause sometimes it's a pain trying to get so my left eye can see the board.
Sorry for being incoherent

I dont wear either glasses or contacts, though I suppose I could find some use for a monacle, since the vision in my right eye is not perfect due to a viral infection I had like 7 years ago.

Or maybe people who don't wear glasses just haven't clicked on this thread? I'm surprised that so many people wear glasses instead of contacts. I've met far more people who wear contacts in real life. That might be more fulfillment of geek stereotypes.
This thread doesn't seem to appeal to people who don't use glasses prancing through the forums, so that might be why there aren't too many people with good vision.

Glasses, poking myself in the eye is scary... knowing me something bad would happen XD.
I'm the same. I've been wearing glasses since kindergarten. Yet for some reason, teachers love assigning me back seats. They don't realize that I'm blind even with glasses on since I get used to new glasses really quickly.
I'm scared of putting on contacts too. I feel sorry for my eye doctor. He had to give up on dilating me eyes one year. When I got new glasses, he said, "Okay, we REALLY need to dilate your eyes." I hate anything coming close to my eyes. I can't even look up to the sky when it's raining even though my glasses would protect my eyes. Besides, I'm quite clusmy, so I'll wait on those contacts.
