I used to wear contacts all the time. Then my stupid eye doctor changed the brand on me and apparenlty, while I can wear normal contacts just fine, those "sensitive eye" ones make me react like crazy! Due to insurance issues, I've already been stuck in glasses for over a year and won't be getting contacts again until the middle of next month!

I got like a really bad eyesight and only use glasses. But last month I tried on contacts for the first time ever and I think they're god-send. Bless contacts.

wow, I use a shitload of different contacts/glasses. I'm slightly nearsighted, so I use both glasses and lenses to correct that, depending on my mood. Since both my eyes are different colors (the right eye is a disgusting hawk-yellow, and the left is blue) I also have two sets of cosmetic lenses to "correct" that whenever I feel like. On a side note, I'm studying to become an optician 😀

I wear contacts whenever I step out of the house since I find driving very difficult with glasses...don't know why 😕

Once I'm at home I immediately put on the glasses.

I know what you mean, I think its because almost everything that isn't directly in front of you is completely blurry, so you are kind of limited unless you want to turn your head around. Or at least, that's the case for me... my glasses are kind of small.

Yeah, that's it....The field of vision is limited so it feels kind of uncomfortable...

Know what you mean. Glasses can really limit your field of vision when you're driving. You can't look out of the corner of your eye at all. And driving on a bumpy/gravelly road is hell cuz the glasses live a life of their own. Also, the closer the corrective lens is to the eye, the better result (it's easier for the eye to focus when using lenses, as opposed to glasses). And whereas objects often look slightly distorted through glasses, lenses produce a more "natural" result.

LOL, so many glasses wearers wears glasses. It's because we spend too much time looking closely at manga books or on monitors.

EDIT: then again 'neither' category is second highest! Glasses are still winning though.

I occasionally wear glasses, only for driving and lectures. I could never wear contacts, I have a serious phobia about things poking out my eyes. I can't even wear eye makeup so poking myself in the eye isn't going to happen anytime soon. Plus once my mum had a sore eye and it turned out to be half a contact lens which had gone up behind her eyeball. The last time she had worn contacts was 3 months previously so it had been sitting there for at least 3 months in her eye. That freaked the hell out of me forever.

I've never had a problem driving with my glasses. I have only needed glasses recently so have driven without them but I don't find they limit my vision nor do they ever fall off touch wood. They only issue I have is when the sun is low the glare is terrible but I have sunglasses for times like that anyway.

I wear contacts. I hate wearing my glasses, they get in the way. So contacts are the way to go for me.

Part-Time glasses, only if I can't see the blackboard etcetera etcetera.
Normally, nothing.

A no for contacts. I'm not comfortable with exploring my eyeballs. D:

Neither. According to my doctor they would be a waste of money and further the deterioration of my eyesight.
