I hate dumb bitches in general, and shoujo is full of them...so i don't read it that often

I hate it when female protagonists fit the stereotype of physically weak, stupid, good at housewife type stuff, perpetually confused, afraid of sex, & etc.

so for specifics: I second the dislike for all the characters in Hot Gimmick (minus the protagonist's brother.. jeez he undershot by a lot). I only read part of that and stopped though. I also don't like the main character in Parfait Tic (forgot her name. it was that bad). every single character in Suzuka pissed me off too... but it was mostly the anime in general. it just dragged on and on and on. I don't like Risa from D.N.Angel either. she was a bit of a bitch to Daisuke.

but there's a lot good shoujo out there with relatable and/or likable characters out there. ^_^

Also, those whiny girls that seem to have only be taught to cry. And 'Saintly Tohru' from Fruits Basket never failed to annoy me to no end.

A lot of Mayu and Minami Kanan's characters too. -_-

I made the mistake on trying hot gimmick the that other day and have to agree with everyone about the characters. there were not all the many good characters and the ones that did exist tended to be shoved in the background. 😢

They never are usually named and come in groups.....but I really don't like the bands of girls at school who are fan-crazy over a particular guy to the point where any individiual girl is not allowed to get his attention because they all have to share him from a distance and/or gang up on and pull stunts on a girl they are jealous of.

It's a guilty little pleasure manga - drama, cliches, smut - but the female protagonist cries at the drop of a hat (a silly reason to dislike a character, I know, but it irks me and gets under my skin). I tried counting how many scenes the mangaka had penned of the girl tearing up and I abandoned the quest halfway through. There's far too many.

I really despise Cocona from Pink Innocent. >:-( Her hair pisses me off and her attitude is far worse. I really hate people who are spoiled and think they can get anything they want.

I also don't like it when the main character is always crying. Seriously, there are mangas where the protagonist cries in almost every chapter!

i got another RETARDED cliche, the playboy bishie. Ugh... seriously they make that guy off to be some sort of playboy yet he's also "Sensitive" and caring, but really he's probably gone to bed with so many women that he's dripping with syphilis, herpes and gonnorhea

I don't think that the quality's you listed are that bad. Haha I think girls like that are cute... well minus the stupid part. Being dumb isn't all that admirable.

Okay I really dislike skanky girls in my shoujo. Which pretty means I dislike almost all main characters in smut XD;; Sleeping with a guy you met the same day, and people wonder how folks get stds. Really stupid skank-hoe.

*though I usually don't have problems with prostitutes in stories @_@; I guess because they're doing their job.

hm... I hate it when their clueless to the bone... or really stupid and always whining, never taking any action... A good shoujo heroin should be strong, consious of her seroundings, funny and only cry when there really is a problem... I mean in a lot of shoujo manga it goes like; OMG I CUT MY FINGER OH NOES NOW IM SCARRED FOR LIFE... and then the male lead apears on a horse and saves the day, yayz for male lead

I hate, hate, hate, the drama queen and prima-donna characters who whine constantly about things and blaming others for being "held back" from all the privileges they wanted to have. Examples include Yui Hongo from Fushigi Yuugi and Madoka from Full Moon.

I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

Karen Onodera, and Miina Miyafuji from Please Twins
Rin from Kodomo no Jikan (She's not terrible but she totally a vehicle for sanctioned lolicon worship, which just makes her all the more disturbing)

Oh and all the Harem girls in any given Ecchi series without a brain. I suppose all you have to do is put an perverted loser out into the world to attract them like flies (too bad it's not termites).

I can't even remember the names because i didn't feel it was important to remember it because i hated them so much. I hate the very weak, stupid, ditzy, always-depending-on-guy, always crying, type heroine characters. Like hiyoko from love monster, I stopped reading it because i hated her so much. And unfortunately, over half of shoujo manga have the type of character I hate so much. Where are the smart and strong and beautiful characters? Also, I hate it when the girl character falls head over heels with the guy right after seeing him once because he is soo soo good looking, and he just happens to like her too. As you can tell, I don't believe in love at first sight.
