I am Hachi's defender. She is the one character that matures in the manga the most. Her husband Ichinose Takumi, on the other hand, is the biggest man-slut I have ever seen. I despise the characters that find flimsy justifications for cheating (Koreeda Iku - Spicy Pink, Kio - Ai O Tomenaide, and the aforementioned Takumi).

P.S. I love Mayu-tan's mangas, but I agree her heroines, except Aine (Kaikan Phrase) are ridiculous. That is what makes them fun.

I agree 100%. This basically covers everything. Also, the female protagonist who complains about the stupidest thing ever. Like if the guy is with another girl or doesn't call her. I mean, I just want to say, "Get. Over. It." Those kind of characters are over used and gets tiring after a while. You just want to strangle them. Okay... Maybe that's just me... 🤣 Anyways... They're basically annoying.

First, NANA is not smut nor is Fushigi Yuugi. I'm not sure why you would categorize it as such simply because there's sex in the series. Sex is a natural progression in a relationship between two people who [hopefully] care for each other. And while Hachi started out as your stereotypical bubble teen airhead, I think NANA readers will agree that she has certainly matured since the beginning. It's something we call character growth and one of the reasons why NANA is so amazing.

Frankly in my opinoin the shoujo characters that deserve to be hated are the stupid girls who fall in love at first sight without even thinking about the guys personality. As well asthe girls in the manga that always, always seem to bully the main character because she is going out with a certain guy or something. I hate them! I mean get a life dude! Also, how the hell can you fallin love with someone while not knowing a single thing about them. For all you know they might be part of the yakuza or an alien (both of which I have actually seen in mangas). Not so handsome and interesting now, are ya?

Also why the hell is everyone hating the girls? Some guys deserve hate too, you know. For example KANAME!! He deserves hate!!! And yes I mean Kaname from Vampire Knight! Go ahead flame me all you want for that comment Kaname lovers I don't care. >:-(

In guys I hate the goodboy type characters. It seems so effin fake. FRankly no girl will ever fall in love with you like that. In mangas with the goodboy type, the girls always seem to choose the badboy type over them and there's a reason for that. It's because they are not lame! 🤢
