OMG I read a hentai manga for the first time a few months ago, and I just tried, you know (the manga was witchcraft) and OMG, I was like.. .wtf, I mean there's a whole other world out there that I didn't know about.
Damn, I don't like hentai, at all.
Dirty pedophile stuff, I'll just stick to the shoujo-manga. 😔 😃

Welcome to hentai world.. 🤣

Guro, the scenes where the inflicter of lethal pain enjoys it. I can't handle those type of scenes. I can read/watch them, but not without cost to myself. :/

no manga as scarred me yet or scared me too much, ive read a little bit a berserk and it didnt phase me at all, and i also read Gantz, which I enjoy very much, i started reading it about a month ago and read through the first 22 volumes in like 2 days........

it was very emotional on me special when Kurono's girlfriend has to die.......... yeah gore doesnt really phase me too much espically in the past 2 or 3 chapters in GantZ so far..... probably wont read Ichi the Killer or Mai Chan <.< sounds a bit too hardcore for me

I'm immensely curious about Mai Chan-enough that I may track it down for the squick factor, but I don't know if I'd actually be able to get through it, or maybe it'd be fine in a so horrible it's funny kind of way.

Lately yaoi has been messing with my brain. Not scarred by much of anything at this point, but recently I was grossed out by graphic shouta-yes their was a warning, but I didn't think it'd be so graphic as them actually having sex. 🤢 (That got deleted fast, though the other stories in the archive were rather conventional-and I'll give credit-even the shouta tried to make it conventionalish by having the chars transform to be the same age-which also gave me the horrible image of two little boys having sex.)

Well, I've never read any manga that has scarred me, or anything of that sort. The most violent manga that I've read so far are Battle Royale, Elfen Lied, and Gantz. Now, after reading through some posts, it seems that there are other more disturbing manga out there. Now maybe it's strange for me to say this, but I'm looking for a manga that is really going to make me say, "OMFG, you gotta be kidding me!" and then cause me to walk away from my comp and not read a manga for a few days. I guess I'm just looking to feel the same way everyone else does about violence. I never get fazed by violence in manga (never taken an interest in seeing real violence, that's too much). But whenever I read a review about how disturbing a manga is (I found most of those reviews in Battle Royale), I finish reading the manga saying, "Meh, it wasn't that bad. I don't know what the big deal was." So, I'm gonna check out a few of these titles and see if I can find that one really messed up manga.

I'm never disturbed by manga, but I never like seeing women getting killed or tortured (can't remember too many of these scenarios). That's the one thing that I don't like seeing, and Gantz, Elfen Lied, and Battle Royale had plenty of that. The few scenes that stand out in these manga are

Gatnz: the classroom massacre by the Chibi Alien, and Izumi's 300+ killing spree in tokyo.
Battle Royale: The lighthouse scene (too many women dying in quick succession), and Kiriyama killing Kayoko right in front of Sugimura (I thought that was a very sad scene)

Try Ichi the Killer and Mai-Chan's Daily Life.

Well, I read Ichi the Killer, and I realized that manga just can't disturb me. Sure there were some brutal scenes, and I'm not a big fan of the whole S&M scene (as well as brutally torturing women), but I was still able to sit through it with no problem. I guess that stuff can't get to me. I do have reservations about reading Mai-Chan's Daily Life, though. The premise alone makes me think, "Oh man. I don't want to imagine what sick things they do to her." Also, I don't like my hentai to have blood and gore in it (in other words, I don't like guro). So, that may be the manga that finally gets to me, and I am a bit curious, but I don't know if actually want to read that.

I completely agree with your view on this topic. First time reading Berserk, Elfen lied, Gantz, Battle Royale were all just amusing to me, nothing really got me say WTF IS THIS? HOLY SHIT! The only thing thus far that disturbed me is the pain olympics video "hatchet to balls"... After watching that, I literally just turned off my comp and went to sleep.

on Mai-Chan... I think I will try reading it right now and post back later with my reaction.... it'll be like all those reaction videos on 2 girls 1 cup xD

Now that you bring it up, Gin does have that kind of look about him. No manga has ever scarred me for life yet and I don't think that any ever will, although Elfen Lied made me feel like I wanted to puke every now and then.

U know Gantz really never scared me. I thought it was awesome
Battle Royale on the other hand scared the crap out of me! I stopped reading that after the first chapter >.<
