Hi, I'm looking for mangas where at the beginning, the main character's lover dies and he/she were very much in love and had a great bond so it affected them very deeply at the beginning. I wish to see the character grow and hopefully learn to love again like getting a new person in their life and becoming happy. No yuri/yaoi please.

These are a few takes that, while not exactly as you described in your post, might be interesting to you:

My Girl (SAHARA Mizu) probably comes the closest to what you're looking for.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr deals with a little less romance in a sense, though the lead is motivated nonetheless by the loss of a childhood loved one.

Ano Hana is a pretty popular story where the main character deals with the loss of a childhood friend.

Otouto no Otto is also a pretty straightforward answer to your request. It does however deal with LGBT themes but it is NOT A YAOI/YURI manga. Give it a try.

Orange (TAKANO Ichigo) gives an interesting take to what you're looking for. It's more about preventing loss or atleast cherishing things that are there before they're gone, without the realizing about how important these things are yet (it makes sense in context.)

Umi no Cradle Well less about being a former lover, and more about the female lead being a former maid to her now missing master. Pretty interesting but may not be what you're looking for.

Majime na Jikan getting pretty far off from the original premise you required now. This one's actually the opposite: What if the story focused on the deceased's point of view? It's unique in it's own right and thankfully isn't underappreciated here.

Swweeet deals with the unfortunate loss of one member in a childhood love triangle. It gets dark at some points, and probably isn't for everyone.

And finally,

Fuuka

it takes a while but it executes just how impactful that loss is in the story instead of how the story implies that it just is, better affecting the reader. More importantly, it makes you appreciate the main lead's growth out of it in a convincingly realistic approach and as one reviewer put it "redemption and the pursuit of happiness in the face of grief"

You're welcome! I hope that at least one of them interests you even though they're only obliquely suited to what you wanted. I tried to mix it up so that each entry'd be unique in their own way. I get where you're coming from with Fuuka, the premise and early chapters didn't offer anything new and it certainly took a while for the story to truly find itself. Happy reading!

Maison Ikkoku - The female lead loses her husband 6 months before the story and that plays a big role and is an obstacle as the male and female leads fall in love.

Cross Game - The male lead's love interest dies and then he tries to achieve her dream with her little sister who he falls for.

Suzuka - Suzuka has big commitment issues because the guy she liked got Seo Kouji'd and that causes problems for her and the male lead for a good bit of the manga.

Couldn't tolerate anime of Suzuka, I'll probably check out the other 2. Thank you for your suggestion!
