Nicknames?

My youngest son (who was my "foster baby" last time I wrote in this thread) has a TON of nicknames, mostly from his two big brothers (12 years older than him). Mostly they're pretty random and mostly he doesn't care. We also tend to take whatever adjective describes him at the moment and put "kai" at the end ("kai" is part of his real name), so he becomes Speedy-kai, Grumpy-kai, Crash-kai, etc. 🤣

Lol. My nickname's Mimi, but not because of any resemblance to my original name or whatever. Basically, I watched Digimon a lot when I was younger and really liked the character Tachikawa Mimi (even though some people think she's the most annoying one). Somehow it became my nickname. 🤣

Heh. I've had a few, but the most amusing I've gotten thus far is Pablo. I started at my current workplace through introduction by my friend. When we were doing to normal "meet the team" routine, he introduced me to the team by my most usual nickname, Oba (I've been wanting to throw this at Japanese people for laughs).
This one guy misheard it and just didn't ever seem to remember it, so he decided that he'd default it to Pablo, since he deemed that it sounded similar and amusing. The name kinda stuck afterwards. It fits me about as well as the lack of oxygen, but everyone here thinks it's a riot and so it stays.
