First, I'm looking for something extremely violent, or in the Horror genre. Examples included but are not limited to, Beserk, BioMeat: Nectar, Ares, and Uzumaki. No H-guro, as I'm not really a fan of porn, but yeah. Also do no recommend Gantz, or anything on my Reading/Wish/Complete lists.

Second, I'm looking for something with a witty/random humor. I don't have any examples of witty humor, but a good example of random/stupid humor would have to be Angel Denetsu. =D

Third, I'm looking for a Medieval Politics manga. I don't think there are many of these, and I don't have any manga examples, but a novel example would be 'The Red Queens Daughter'. I want a manga which takes place in a King/Queens Court, where the members of the court bite and snap and poke with words, each fighting for the favor of the Queen/King.

Violent/Horror:
Variante
King of Thorns
Gantz

Random Humor:
Gintama
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Sgt. Frog
Ouran High School Host Club

Sorry, don't know any medieval politics.

Thanks. King of Thorns I've already finished, though.

Also, I didn't Like Gintama or Ouran High School Host club.

Humour:
Yotsubato
Living Game
Love Roma

Sorry I don't have any medieval politics, although that would be very interesting. Anatolia Story is Egyptian/Hittite empire politics and interesting though not exactly what you're looking for.

HISTORICAL:
Cantarella (this is a little after medieval ages and only if you don't mind shounen ai)
Castle of Dawn - this appears to be what you're looking for but I haven't read it
Chevalier - again after the target timeperiod but very political
Kakan no Madonna - a little after medieval
Legend of Nereid is ancient greece but rather political
Mercenary Pierre - right time-period might be more action than political

hope that helps.

Humor:
Azumanga Daioh
Cromartie High School
From Eroica with Love (utter CRACK if you don't mind shounen-ai)

Thanks for all the suggestions! =D

Yeah. I doubted there would be very many, if any at all. >.> I tried though.

I was thinking about the #3...

There is Princess, but it's all shoujo-ish, teary and all. There is some amount of politics in the later volumes, but more in the 'court plotting' way.

Btw, you mean european "medieval", right? From 476 bc till 1453? Are you looking for manga set in europe, or is it ok also when it's set in asia, but somewhere around the 476 bc -1453 period?

Yeah. Correct, it could be anywhere, as long as its around the same time period. =D

I'll check out that manga, see if it could suffice.

I don't think you'll find much for #1, since you already made threads about that...

For #2, I would recommend Minami-ké and from what I've heard Lucky Star too... The anime are better though...

Nothing comes up to mind for #3.

I would make more suggestions, but internet is too slow. >.<

Violence: Jackals

Historical/Political: Cesare is the closest I've read aside from Historie which I read after your recommendation in another thread. I'll have to keep my eyes open though, I didn't used to have too much interest in these, but Historie is just too good.

Yeah. I'm hoping to find more stuff for #1 though, because most of the stuff people have suggested I can't find. >.>

Thanks for all your suggestions, folks! =D
