I´m annoyed by obsessive people that don´t try games that are handily available, in genre´s that they´ve played before.

My majority of my experience with girl gamers has been that. Or girls that are humouring you by even trying the game in the first place and aren´t going to give it a good try - these would be the non gamers -.

I´ve personally only met one girl that had the happy balance.

I also don´t like most of the answers but I put I don´t care since I wouldn´t.

It's safe to assume most girls in-game are guys trying to cash in on lonely suckers who would give them free items. But I haven't played a MMORPG in a long time, though I used to play RO and Survival Project. God I loved SP. I mainly play arcade style fighting games. Right now I'm into BlazBlue(Ciel) and Street Fighter IV(C.Viper). I get some weird looks when people I meet for the first time find out I game and enjoy other nerdy shit, seeing as I don't look the part. I haven't played in an arcade or net cafe for a long time, but back in the day when I walk in people always assumed I was looking for someone until I headshot them in CS or challenge them on Melty Blood(Awesome game by the way).

Experience is experience. You play enough, you get good enough. Gender doesn't matter.

Also, I am a girl and I always hate the healers in RPG's. They're too weak. I'm all for the well-balanced character in attack and defense. I didn't even know that was a stereotype lol 😛

i don´t remember meeting many female priests in mmorpgs. i alaways level up pretty fast, but i soon get bored. I don´t care about other players, so i don´t know about stereotypes.
I am either a magican or a character fighting with a fan in games. Sometimes swordfighter. I need action

ahahaha! man- this is funny~!
"In a RPG, girls usually play the healer characters.." yeah, right I hate being a healer, I never was one. I was always the one fightin
I've been asked a bunch of times "are you a GIRL? I mean I you really a girl?" and when I say "yea, why?" they say "no reason..." and they challenge me right away and I win. man- those poll choices are hilarious (I've encountered many of them thats why) 🤣

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"

A game is a game. I don't treat it as a place to find romance. I generally assume a female character is actually a guy playing, but I treat everyone I meet in game equally. If you're nice; I'll be nice. If you're a douche... prepare to be rained upon, lol.

Really? Most girls go healer? That's so boring!

But yea, I use girl characters since I am one but everyone always talks to me as if I'm a guy -.-

Like others here, I don't think the sex of the person really matters. What matters is how they play. How they act is also important.

🤣 🤣 i just remembered a certain Video because of this thread.

I think that a gamers gender shouldn't really matter as long as they enjoy playing games.
But still some people find it unusual. And I think its mainly because the majority of gamers are male. Due to most of all of the games that are made or being made, mainly targets male gamers(story, character, gameplay) than female gamers. So not all girls like this type of games. hence fewer female gamers and guys stereotyping female gamers.

this is what i think the reason some people stereotyping.

Well, I too, am a female and a gamer. So what?

Basically, I don't care about winning or not in such a fighting game or MMORPG, I play games just to have some fun and storyline in them.

Male gamers can go ahead thinking about some winning streak and think about how they can rule the MMORPG or fighting or some soccer games tournament. 🤢

Total female gamer here.

And I always play as the Warrior, Rouge, etc. in RPGs or MMORPGs.
I don't really think girls or boys are better at video games, it's just that girls aren't expected to play video games.
I've only lost (in all the games I play) to two people in the last two years- one of them was my older brother, and one was my best friend who beat me for the first time at split screen MW2 (IT WAS A LUCKY SHOT, DAMMNIT!).

I can beat most people at video games, but there are certainly some better than me, which is to be expected, and I really don't mind.
