Yes! A portuguese translaction in quite troublesome because of the accents so I will have to see every dialogue from the game, although we might alternate.
By the way, do you people found Vincent's Waterfall?

Another female gamer here... it's pretty funny especially when I play in an arcade. I was a Tekken player until about a year ago (I don't go to arcades now but I still play at home), and every time I sit down and start playing, countless guys start challenging me thinking its an easy win to add in their data cards. I don't always win in the end, but at least I surprise them by putting up a decent fight.

I played mmorpgs too, but I always make the conscious decision to use male characters. Even going to the extremes, I always introduce myself in the mmog world as a male. I think female characters bring too many baggage: they get harassed by perverts who have nothing else to do with their time, they are always underestimated and counted out on tournaments, especially when it comes to picking teams, and I don't like being flirted on by little boys with too much hormones.

Now I just play at home, with my PS2 and my WII. I like RPGs, but I never finished FFXII because for me it's the least enjoyable of all the FFs. (I can't comprehend how it's the one and only FF game to get a perfect score from Famitsu. +_+) I love Metal Gear and I'm currently saving up so I can buy Portable Ops for my PSP. I like playing Resident Evil 4 in my Wii, but after replaying it 5 times, it starts to get stale. XD Wii Play gets old after 5 hours of playtime, and Metroid just doesn't do it for me. It's hard to find good games...^^

It's kinda lonely being a female gamer...I don't personally know any other girl gamers +_+

There are several criterias to judge a movie, book, game, etc.. And one of them is 'Is it innovating..?'.. It's also one of the most important criteria.. And since FFXII has a lot of that, it got a perfect score..

Just like there was a movie in the 50's or something, who didn't exactly had a great story or acting, but it used so many innovative and new filming ways.. That it's considered one of the best films ever made.. Anyone know that film..? I forgot the name.. >.<

after having to spend hours breeding the chocobos to get there. ill be honest i did use a website tho

@wild star- i do the opposite in mmorpg's, im a guy and i play as mainly female characters, tho not for the tricks the noobs strategy. I just hate how every male character in wow(i just started) looked atleast 60 years old, so i maka mainly mannish looking female characters.

Yeah, I think that's it.. I actually liked the new battle system.. It was a refreshing, new change.. I guess, it's a matter of opinions..

and for the sake of on topicness, i believe girls are free to play what they want, and the whole "girls are ridiculous fail at games" stereotype deserves a punch in the face. my sis would always hand my ass to me at soul caliber, and relentlessly at that >_>

There's a girl in my group who plays WoW. That's one hell of a geekish creature. Scary.

But if girls enjoy occasional Sims2 or sweet stuff like Beyond Good & Evil than that's quite okay. It doesn't show.

Heeeey, I love FFVIII too.^^ Squall...now THAT'S a real character. Cloud seemed too much of a stereotypical, emotionless hero for me. Great to find someone who has the same sentiment. Everyone else I know thought the junction system sucked. ^^;
