I'm definitely not a fan for all the reasons other people have already stated, but I will say this: for the genre, Shinjo Mayu is definitely NOT the worst that's out there, not by a long shot. I would MUCH rather pick up one of her titles than one by Kayono, for instance. So while Shinjo Mayu's mangas are bad, they read like Shakespeare in comparison to someone like Kayono.

I don't like her at all. Couldn't get over the sucky art. The sideviews especially bothered me. Also, the stories would either be slutty, stupid, or both. Just my opinion.

I'm going to start this like this: I hate smut, it's a major turn-off. It's one of my most-avoided genres (Unless of course, it's by a favorite author) but in any case. I heard from a lot of people that her stuff sucks and to not even go near them with a ten-foot pole.
To be not so completely baised, I just read a oneshot of hers (Apple!) from previous comments, I heard her shounen were better. I didn't like it...it just seem really rushed and hardly any substance whatsoever, and her art look awkward in most places...Not to mention it didn't even seem to be shounen at all. But, whatev's.

I've only ever read Haou Airen of hers, I think.
It started out good, and I liked her art work, but it kind of disturbed me towards the middle, and the ending...
Well yeah, I just don't think her work is for me.

Personally, I hold nothing against her. I don't reallly see "she doesn't have good art" thing, but we all have our own opinions and mine is I really like her art. And notice that most of her manga are Smut and in the manga I read rape and falling in love with a jacka** is pretty normal.. o.O We all have our own taste so yeah, I like her series. -^.^-
