Do you read raw manga, even if you can't read Japanese?

There should be a 'No, but I've been tempted' selection, because that would of been my answer.
An instant or an eternity. Both are the same, in the passing of an instant lies the beauty of eternity.

I'm learning Japanese in part because I don't like waiting for scanlations because most of the series I like have gaps of half a year or more between scanlated chapters.
So, yeah. I download RAWs just to keep me on my toes. A lot of them are new to me - I've never read the series before. Then again, I also download RAWs for series I am in the process of reading because I'm impatient. My reading level is at the point where I can understand a fair amount of what's going on even if I can't understand all of it. Jousei and Seinen are harder because I have to look up any kanji or compounds I don't know by radical rather than reading.
RAW manga is a drug for me. XDD I'm all over it. Hopefully I'll be fluent in Japanese before I graduate college. I'd like to teach English in their schools for a while.

I have three volumes of Otomo Katsuhiro manga in their original Japanese, two of which are untranslated and more than likely will never see publication outside of Japan. I bought em for the art alone cos I just lap up everything that guy does, but since Otomo draws in such a cinematic and expressive fashion it's not too hard to guess what's going on at all.
The only other instance where I've read raw manga is when I'm dying for a Mysterious Girlfriend X fix, and the scanlator hasn't released the chapter yet. 😛

I thought about it but no since I'll just spoil the story and I might misunderstand things, but I've been tempted by some series 😮

only for one series...
but after reading the raws and being completely clueless I always read the summary of the chapter on that really useful site. I'm so grateful to the author of those summaries xD
I've also tried raws of another manga and after flipping through the pages I knew as much as in the beginning. If you read the end it's probably clear and you can understand it, but in that matter I agree with Avian3, I don't want to be spoiled.
There's nothing to see here. Proceed with what you were doing or throw rainbows at random pedestrians.
third one.
example : 7seeds. I read its raw ~~"O_o bcoz i'm really curious about the continuation of the story

I have to admit, sometimes I just can't keep my hands of the spoilers lol 😳
