Do You Get Depressed After Finishing A Manga?

That depends on the Manga. If it was a great manga, with a great story and a perfect ending and I enjoyed then nope. But when it has sooo much potential to become a great manga and then is rushed to finish the manga bcz of outside circumstances yeah then I feel depressed cause those endings always suck and they kill all the hopes I had for that manga.
Best example of it is prob MxO It could have been a great story if it could have lasted longer.
So tell me, what's it like living in a constant haze of stupidity?
Yes so depressed......I wish the story will nvr end and keep continue....I just finished read Bokura ga Ita and i wonder if the chapter is really until 62...if so i get too depressed...After all, all manga that i've read were just so wonderful and im sad to finish every single title...

I get pretty sad when I finish a manga I enjoyed, I just finished Devilman and even though it was pretty strange and extremely irrational for the first half of the manga the ending was sad.

Heck yeah! Especially if i have come to love the characters as if they're my own friends/sibling/rival. I hate to think that a great manga has ended and will never be continued again, happy ending or tragic.

I sometimes get depressed after reading stuff (mostly hentai) with NTR themes. For some reason I still continue to read it though.

Not after finishing a movie or manga. But in between I can lay in my bed thinking about the main characters in the manga.

Haha not exactly but I do feel a little sad once my favourite series is over, i.e. Hikaru no Go. I was like, why, continue a little more 🙂 )
On the other hand, when Shin Angyo Onshi ends, I probably had a standing ovation in my head. It ends at the perfect timing.
And then there was Prince of Tennis, though I love the series a lot, I didn't give much thoughts when it ends (it's like 'oh, so prince of tennis is over').
I remember feeling relieved when Death Note ended though (if it continue any further it would suck big time, Raito has no equal opponent anymore, seriously). 😀
Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.
I get depressed...because i find such great manga and i finish reading and then i have nothing to read ...T_T is it the end of the world 🙁

I don't exactly get depressed, but if it's really a remarkable series then I will have the story on my mind for some time.

Ai-Ren was like that for me. So was Asatte Dance, but that was only because of how rage-worthy Aya's actions were.

I have yet to read a manga that makes me feel depressed. I admit to crying to one or two over a depressing scene but not over it being finished.
If I am really enjoying a manga and find out it's done, finished, never coming back sayonara, my reaction would be more on the psychotic side. I'd spend literally hours on the internet trying to find fan art, fanfictions (rarely), any trace of more. Then go through withdrawl and all the stages and blah blah blah... But again, it is a very rare occurrence.
Though there is one manga/anime I am literally in love with and would more than likely be depressed if it ended. But for now I'm not going to worry because it very popular in Japan and in many other countries so no doubt it will have a good, long run.

I think depressed is a bit much, but yeah, sometimes I get a little sad when a series ends. Either A) Because the ending was sad, or B) Because I loved the series and wished it would continue! Though I think it would be more sad if a series went on too long and got really bad.
And yeah, I've cried a few times over endings. Then again, I cry at the ending of a lot of things, so it's not surprising, haha.

Sometimes. If I had been reading the manga for a long time and I feel a certain...attachment (don't know if that is the right word..?) to it, I feel sad when it ends. Or, if it has a sad ending.

Yup...I have felt such. I've cried so much in one go after reading it for so long...or sometimes not even that long but the attachment is just too great that I felt lonely after seeing it finish.
