then i try to explain the Kamehameha (or any energy attack from db)
the strengh of the Kamehameha comes from the energy of the users body (KI)
In the beginning goku hasn´t much energy so the Kamehame ha was weak
then he has strengh his body and raised his KI (training by Muten Roshi or God). So Gokus KI has risad and everyone knows Goku is not human so he has mor avible KI then a Human, enough KI to destroy a Galaxy
