haha i found the conversation with naruto and itachi kinda touching and it gave me a little bit of a smirk 😀 ok fine a big one. 😛 and yea it seems that story is finally moving but this one kinda moved too fast. but neway i'll just leave it to kishimoto to give us a flashback chapter to tell us why sasuke was alone in the first place.i think the action and subtext in this chapter were pretty balanced out so no complaints.and i'm kinda curious as to the whereabouts od kisame. darn u masashi and u giving the readers an unblanaced ratio of answered and unanswered questions! DAAARRRRN YYYOOOOUUUUUU!!!!!. lol jk. 😁

Because Jiraiya isn't going to be killed until Naruto gets really really strong/has no reason to live anymore.

no i think kishimoto is going to use jairiaya the same way as asuma. by killing him off this would anger naruto giving him more reason to take down the atsuki. sure you might say that the atsuki's hunt for the jinjuruki is enough reason but kishi doesnt work that way he write the story so that most major battles have melodrama. And right kishi hasnt given a reason for that kinda fight yet.

actually Sasuke told them to stay at the entrance to the akatsuki hideout so they're somewhere near that point
