Orochimaru is actually one of my favorite villains, right up there with Toguro Ani (the guy in my avatar), because he's got so much style (which is important for a villain) and such good presentation. He's an interesting villain, one he love to hate and like to see. He's also a 'pure' villain; he commits horrible, heinous atrocities and smiles about it, and no attempts are made (as far as I've seen) to show us his troubled past in an effort to get us to sympathize with him, like they do with Lucy in Elfin Lied.

Actually I think in Naruto they say something about Orochimaru wanting to live long enough to see his parents again or something like that. But I don't think he was a bad villain, he just creeped me out which was his purpose.
Nurarihyon from Gantz makes me a little uncomfortable b/c he's always naked and he doesn't die.

he creeps me out just the same but mostly cause how realistic he seemed though. i mean the way he was portrayed, as devoid of all qualms about life and taking it, seemed kind of..... wow, you know. 🤢 🤣 i mean it's not new to see some villains do something extreme like that, but they're always portrayed as manacle in some way. but Johan seemed like a normal charming person, like someone you could possibly get along with.... before he would kill you for knowing him though. 🤢
