as we grow up and continue to read manga does our opinion change on those types and say we start reading different ones? 😕

Of course. Every Naruto lover is at one point bound to realize how much it sucks.

yes but in my experience you dont outgrow manga, just come to like new ones. For example i used to think that naruto was really gay and for kids, but then i realized it was pretty cool. same thing happened with shoujo. lol 😀 now i will read virtually anything and enjoy it so long as its well done.
Can't read >_<

Definitely. I started off with reading stuff like Dragon Ball[not Dragon Ball Z, the Dragon Ball manga version when they were little kids], and gradually moved on to shounen like Naruto, and now my interests favor seinen manga like Gantz and Shamo as opposed to shounen like One Piece and other WSJ manga.
I guess as I grew older, my sense for mature manga also grew, since shounen manga are fun to read, but I will never love them the way I did when I was younger, simply because it doesn't give me the same spark and excitement it used to bring me. It just seems more toned down now, and I can't really feel much for it like I did when I was younger, getting all hyped reading the newest issue of Naruto, especially that arc with the Chuunin exam =].
I also enjoy things with more of a mature touch, with plots based on more complicated stuff. Gore/blood never hurts, and I grew to hate the "cant-kill" shounen cliches. All in all, I still enjoy and read shounen, but if I had to pick between Naruto and Gantz, let's say Naruto will be put down lol =].

For me yes and no, you can out grow a manga if you begin to think of it as childish but you can't out grow out of a truly "epic" manga and most of the time I change mangas because I took in different ethics and morals not because of age.
