Title says it all really, but pretty much I'm looking fir something with a male protagonist who is either terminally ill, or is cursed in a way that is either killing him, or controls his life or has a huge impact on the story and who he is (for a popular reference, a naruto-like character would work because of the demon inside him making him an outcast)

Ideally, I want a romance school-life drama where the in-love protagonist is slowly dying, keeping him from confessing, but that's a very specific and possibly non-existent category. So anything that falls into above would work.

Manga I've read similar (curse one, not sick, as I only know one mange where the protagonist is dying, and that's the one with the artificial girl who it turns out is going to die before him, and there's a nuclear war at the end).

NOTE: I DON'T WANT AN ACTION SERIES WHERE THE CURSE IS A CRAZY POWER. Not that that's bad, but I just feel like people could reccomend 80% of shounen mangas then.

That is a good point. Fruits Basket also pays attention to a pair of boys and their big part in the curse. It's pretty great.

Fruits Basket is a female protagonist. Not what I'm looking for, also, I find it a little boring. I want a curse that's crippling to aspects of life, and constitutes a large part of the drama. Again, I'd prefer something where it's affecting their lifespan as well.

Just read the first three chapters of Rorou no Tabi, not what I was looking for, but not bad. Close, but a little too slapstick comedy/stupid people assuming the main character is a monster being used for comedy instead of drama. I really want some heavy painful drama.

Not sure if this helps, but I really like Iris Zero, mainly because it takes this idea but in reverse, instead of being abnormal in a normal world, the protagonist is normal in a world where that makes him an outcast. (Though again, this seems more like the curse scenario, and doesn't affect his lifespan.)

Hmmm Okay maybe:
Momogumi Plus Senki or Sengoku Tsukiyo, they both have Male Protagonist and deal with curses. There action however its not crazy powers.

Made in Heaven doesn't match exactly, but the "illness" certainly affects the protagonist's life and his life span. It isn't school life, and it doesn't prevent him from getting together with the girl, though there is much that remains unspoken between them. It is a very sad story.

Ok so I am not quite sure this is the sort of thing you are looking for but you might try Dawn - Tsumetai Te.

The only ones I could think of with cursed male protagonists, I'm not really sure if they're what you're after though...

Hmm... I am actually a huge fan of terminally-ill or otherwise afflicted-with-angst characters, so I have a few to recommend, but like you said, they're hard to find. Most of these will not fit all your criteria (they may not be school-life shoujo, they may not be romance, etc.) But it's so hard to find male characters like this. Usually, all the characters that fit this description are female.

Well, I hesitate to recommend this both because someone already recommended it AND because it fits so frighteningly well with all of your criteria that there's almost no way you HAVEN'T read it yet, but if you haven't, BokuKimi is the perfect fit for EVERYTHING you're asking for. Terminally ill male protagonist who can't confess because he doesn't want to hurt the girl he loves? Check. School-life shoujo? Check. It's very good.

Nabari no Ou - Yoite is terminally ill (This series is not romance, and Yoite is the secondary male lead, however.)
Tsuki no Ko - I read this because it's by a mangaka I respect, and it's a very interesting and twisted take on the subject. The more you read, the more you realize how "cursed" and ultimately doomed several of the male characters are. You can only really tell by the end, but I can name at least a small handful of characters who fit the bill in one way or another.
Heaven's Door (HONGOU Ranko) - It's okay, although a little strange. 😀 If you hold out, you'll find that it matches many (but not quite all) of your criteria. (It's not school-life, mainly.) It's short and interesting. The lead is a female, but there is also a male "lead."
Pandora Hearts has a character who fits the bill, but that comes in a ways into the series, the character is not the protagonist... it's really far from what you're looking for, but it does have the character who is "cursed/dying" and whose "curse/illness" controls his life. Actually, the main character counts, considering that his "curse" is sapping away his life as the hand on the seal advances.
Itsuka no Tsuki de Aimashou - This is a decent-ish oneshot that meets several of your criteria.

It's horribly hard to find series with terminally ill or tragically cursed male leads because writers don't want to deal with doomed-to-die people. In addition, it's even harder to find shoujo series where a boy is the viewpoint character. I have a lot of series where there are characters who are cursed or doomed to die, but the few I mentioned are some of the closest I can think of. (And there are tons where there are just tragically afflicted characters or characters with mental illness who are pretty much doomed, but I decided not to mention those since they're even FARTHER from your request.) Even so, I'm sorry most of them are terribly far from what you're looking for.

Hitsuji no Uta - although the focus is on the illness of the female character, the male character suffers the same thing too and it has a big effect.

Ai-Ren ... although I guess that's the one you're referring to in the OP.
