Implied Relationship

A manga where a relationship between two characters is heavy implied. Sort the way it's done in Hayao Miyazaki's works. .... Sorry I can't explain more... the word bromance comes to mind but I'm looking for that sort of bond between male and female.
Certain aspects of Hachimitsu to Clover Shuu and Hagu...
Oh, Eden of the East anime, Akira and Saki or um.... Kara no Kyoukai, the relationship between the two leads.
But I'm not looking for close encounters of the blushing kind. 😀

If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.
From a bumper sticker I like:
"If you're gonna ride my ass, at least pull my hair."

Bamboo Blade -> Yuuji & Tamaki or Ishida and Kirino. There's really no romance there, but you know, you get that feeling.

Seirei no Moribito. Balsa's relationship with her male childhood friend is obvious but never beyond implication. Watch the anime if you're impatient about more manga releases; it's still an implied relationship in the anime, and quite lovely.
