would you suggest/recommend a/an manga/anime with a personality like eat-man's bolt crank? You know, a hero who is strong, cool and laid back kind of guy that doesn't always panic and in control!! Oh yeah, i don't like any arrogant hero (like in manwhas... mostly). And I prefer the hero to be male...

Some examples would be...
Train from black cat - although a bit goofy, he's one badass dude!!

Luffy from one piece - he wants to be pirate king!! So he has all the qualities i'm looking for

kang-too-jee(with the soul of woo soo choi) from change guy- brains and brawns! though not always in control in a fight, he can still kick ass

keima katsuragi from twgok - who says you can't be badass without fighting? he's pretty much of a bolt crank to me in capturing girls 😀

well those are the closest that i can relate to bolt crank (Still no. 1 in my book) 😀 . So got any recommendations? thanks in advance

I finished trigun a long time ago and I should've included him in my examples... he's one cool dude!! i think i'll try immortal rain but why is it shoujo? well anyway, the summary is good so thanks!! and i'm having doubts with law of ueki, looks kind of childish, but hey i'm the one asking for help so why diss the recommendations?? thanks! I think i'll try dogs, zetman and akumetsu. i already fiinished shin angyo onshi and numbers for me is just boring haha... full of texts... well it only has 3 chapters anyway. maybe i'll pick it up once it gets going... thanks to all

If you haven't read it yet, you have to read Shaman King, the hero[Yoh] and the antagonist[Hao] fits exactly into this category. Also one of the main females[Anna] also fit into this =].

Also, Kurosagi, another one that fits your category.

Also, maybe Prince of Tennis? It's not bad, it's like a shounen action manga using tennis to fight instead of fists or weapons[well technically the racket and the ball is their weapon lol]. Except he's a tiny bit cocky.
