Are u a fast manga reader??

I thing I'm fast reader, I only slow down when i can not understand what's going on and on the funny parts.

Actually, I'm relatively slow. But I think I take things at a good pace. I take in all the information but I don't rush through everything.

coincidence is that I was thinking while looking at people's lists how much manga they have read and how many volumes and thought 'woah, they are fast, wish I could get through that much'
Manga I'm slow for some reason, if it's enjoyable I slow down and read each word carefully, if it's mindless/annoying/boring I speed things up just to see whether anything interesting comes up that will make me want to continue reading.
With books, I'm fast, much faster than manga since I've been reading books much more longer than manga, but once again, if I'm enjoying it, I go slow, if i'm not enjoying it, I will skip whole paragraphs and pages just to see whether any interesting developments occur to give me a reason to continue reading. 😛

It depends. If I'm reading it in Japanese it takes a lot longer than if I'm reading it in English/reading it in English at the same time.
In Japanese I can usually read 1 chapter before I get tired out and have to do something else for a while. It took me 3 or 4 days to read the first volume of Pandora Hearts. I must learn more so I can read easier and have more fun!
In English, I easily read about 30 chapters of Tsubasa Chronicle in an hour and twenty minutes every morning for a while. It took me about 45 minutes to read one volume of Natsume Yuujinchou. Those are the last things I really read so the time's fresh on my mind. I'm not OCD over it or anything. XD
It's no problem at all for me to sit down an read a volume of manga all at once. In fact, I think a manga's a horrible failure if I can't stand to read a whole volume at once. That doesn't happen very often though. If I'm really interested in a series and I have the time/incentive I can marathon it almost all day without getting bored.

I'm normally done reading a chapter quite quickly. Actually, I'm normally done recently released chapters before I get completely into them. I normally read a few chapters I already have before reading the newest chapters. I would like to learn how to read Japanese in the future so I can read raws as well, since a lot of the series I like seem to be skipped over or are put on the back burner. Either that or the group scanning it needs a refresher course in English or they need to ditch Babelfish.

I can finish an entire volume in about half an hour or less, but that's a pretty normal time, so I guess I'm not very fast after all.

Like just about everyone else here for me it depends on what I am reading...
Sometimes I can finish several volumes in an hour while other times I may spend that amount of time on a single ~40 pg chapter. I've also noticed I tend to have the bad habit on some series of getting stuck in a loop of reading panels over and over again and flipping back to previous pages and re-reading...
I tend to read four-panel manga the slowest I've noticed as well, usually it takes me over an hour to get through a volume of those. 🙄

If I read them online I have the tendency to read them faster. But if I went to the book store and spent money on a volume of something, I figure I might as well get my money out of it and I take my time.

yup pretty much, but i've always been a speedy reader.
some of my friends continuously accuse me of not fully appreciating the mangas but there wrong 😔

Generally yes, but when it comes to my favourites I read as slow as possible and do not skip even 1 word. 😁

A slow one. I can put series on a massive hold after reading almost to the end (even those of 1 volume).
My best speed that I remember was 9 volumes in 3 days. Sorta a special case.

I guess I'm pretty fast or average bordering on fast? I can finish 36 volumes in one day. But that's stretching it. Haha. I think I can finish a chapter for 5-10 minutes depending on the number of pages.
I also go by amatsu.

Depends if it's scans, or physical manga... If scans then I am a slow/moderate, but if it's physical then I am moderate/fast...

Lots of text and a good plot take time... and sometimes I do take the time to admire the art... If is something like Bleach, then NOT so much... probably a little less than 30 mins per volume.
