Iol I don't know why I laughed but I agree with you. 20-page weekly stuff usually takes me 5 mins to read (depends whether I dl or view online) but for long, complicated ones it takes me quite some time.

it was while reading Monster when I first noticed, that some manga are really ought to be read. it takes much more time to finish a volume of Monster or any other word-packed seinen stuff, comparing to any shounen. most of them are only pictures with short references, which makes it a really fast read.
but I still have a way to go. they say, Japanese spend only few seconds to read each page. 😎

Depends really on how interesting the manga is. Example, I read all of Hot Gimmick in one night, versus trudging along Oyayubihime Infinity (only 6 volumes) in a week.

Some take more time than others. But I usually stop and take a good look at the pictures. Like One Piece. Awesome drawings.

I used to be. Now I'm terribly slow. I get bored easily and am constantly jumping around and not finishing anything. Same thing with videogames. I used to speed through these things. 🤢

i guess you can say "fast" by if you mean skipping the pages with a lot of text then yes! I am a fast manga reader. I get enough reading from my studies thank you, i don't need another subject to strain my eyes when I get home.

It depends what manga it is. If the manga is pretty boring and I'm reading a 200 chapter flashback about some dumb side character nobody cares about I'm fast as lightning.

If it is the latest Naruto or Kimi no Iru Machi chapter at only 17 pages I try to make the most of it and read it very carefully.

Basicaly it all depends on the manga.

Well, I guess I am especially since the only stuff I read are titles that really interest me. At first go, I read so fast then I re-read everything again 🤣 Although I try finishing stuff that I didn't really like (like Oyayubihime Infinity too, as previously mentioned) it takes me much longer than when I read something I genuinely liked... as in MUUUCH longer 🙄

i take my time 🙂 sometimes it can take me 10 mins for a chapter sometimes its an hour lol

i sometimes do other stuff at the same time so once it took me a day to read a chapter cause i forgot about the tab 🤣

I think it all depends on what i'm reading
i tend to read the ones I like really fast

I do that when reading Bakuman. I read fast with all mangas, but with certain good stories I pause to admire the art.

not really a fast or slow reader.. just a lazy one because i tend to do a lot of stuff while im on the pc, i have more than one addiction 🤣 and i also tend to read books, and if the story is addicting , either manga or book or anime, i became a fast absorber and finish it ina week or day, depends on the length.. 😀
