had one in high school it lasted for 3 years, it was horrifying ...i thought i wasn't good enough for her (still do) so i never did anything, just friends...until she kissed me 😁 ...boy did i feel stupid

so i think it's healthier to do something about it then keep it inside...even if rejected it's easier to go on...because one of the worst things is thinking what if for a long time...

Ahhh...one-sided loves. The story of my life.

...mostly because I never confess. ^^;

Same with me...
...
TT__TT

I had a one-sided love for a little over eight or so years... Thinking about it now still wrenches my heart...

-long story-

---edit OMFG thats so long?!! O_O... lol ^^' i'm so sorry

Wow tears in my eyes you are a strong person 😲

I've got kind of a love trauma XD
When I was about 14 I ended up eventually having a humongus crush on one of my guyfriends... But me being unable to confess because of the horibble fear of rejection(I did give various hints though) poured my heart out by my best friend who went to a different middle school. She appeared to be very interested in him, said she would help me. So when we went shoping with a group I decided to ask her to come along. Then she decided that he was hot and it would be fun to flirt with him... and eventually ask him out. I, as the nice person that I am, was heartbroken(cried a lot) but thought that her feelings were sincere so supported her(yes I am that kind of idiot) She and He became a couple, but suddenly all sort of nasty rumors popped up about me, in our group of friends. Apparently my friend who I held dear for about 7 years was angry with me and decided to let me be kicked out of our group. She also told my other friends all sort of of things that I hated them, and gossiped about them (never did that). I was hurt too the bone... So eventually I was fed up with all the hurt reactions of my friends who had been lied too. And told her off. But then my one sided crush got angry with me saying that I always had been jalous of my(now) ex-bestfriend/ his girlfriend. The few friends who stood by me tried to convince him that she was the pawn of satan, but it didnt work. Eventually he broke up with her because she had been cheating. Resulting in her PM-ing all my friends that I was the cause of their break up( even though I hadnt seen him in weeks) Well the friendship was cut off and my onesided love was destroyed. I think it must have kinda hit me in the face how much trouble love gives because I havent had any romantic feelings since that incident..(now almost 4 years ago)

Nope no lovey dovey in my life, so automatically no one sided love.
Just some random sleeping, satisfies me enough 😎

I think most people think they do becasue they like someone but the other person doesn't seem like the kind of person to like them back. But you never know, because, secretly, that person might like you back too.

It's only one sided if you told them and they say that they don't like you the same way you do them. 😢

what if you like someone, then later (while you still like them) they get a girlfriend? then you kinda know that they dont like you

Sure,
but I think it's more like infatuation. 🤣

I won't see him again for like ever, so it might die off.

I guess, that's one sides.
But they could like you but they like their girlfriend too.
But the girlfriend was the first one to ask, and so he agreed. 🙁

Oh yes, my three high school years were "decorated" with a quite horrible one-sided love. It sucked so damn hard, to say the least.

I fell in love with a girl in my class the first time I met her. The feeling wasn't mutual though. I got to know her quite well and we became friends pretty fast. However, when I told her how I felt she became distant and non-friendly from time to time. The following ~2 years were an emotional rollercoaster. I reaaaally tried to get her out of my head, but it was an epic fail most of the time. Since we hung out with the same people, it was impossible to avoid her so I tried to do the best of the situation. The results varied 🙂

At least, towards the end of the last year my feelings for her finally began to disappear and it was such a relief. Now, some years later, I'm happily in love and will get married next month 🙂
