4chan is both the scum of the internet and, at times, pretty awesome too.

/b/ is absolute garbage, even more now with /r9k/ which is pretty much the same with 70% less crap. It's still crap though.

Where 4chan shines is in its sudden bursts of awesome, like anonymous scanlators picking great and / or dropped mangas like Vinland Saga, Shigurui, Shintaro Kago's stuff, etc., scanners posting rare pics at /hr/, liska and her (his? one never knows on the internet) Met Art sets in /s/, night time /a/ and /co/...

Usually, it's better to take it as what it is, an imageboard, and not a place for discussion (even though at the night there's a lot less idiots). So get your pretty pics, ignore the text and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I'm a frequent visitor of 4chan...
I used to be a total /b/tard, raiding Habbo and the lot, but that was a long while back now...
Nowadays, I'm usually found in /mu/, /ic/, /co/, and less often, /a/ (because its all moeblob and Code Gayass), /v/ (it's the vidya version of /b/) and /r9k/.

Too many people who are unfunny and just stupid are on there now. There use to be hilarious threads all the time. Now funny posts are few and far between.

/b/ for laughing and the rest for new adult stuff 😉

The website itself is pretty useful, but most of the people on there think they're God and will freak out if you disagree with them or try to start a flame war with you over some stupid shit (It happened to me yesterday just because I typed that the only people who still read/watch and enjoy Toradora are masochists).

I just go there to get sauce for things that I want, and then I leave before I have a retard trying to make a comeback on me.

Nah, I like Toradora...they're both somewhat lonely (and miss understood by most) and have accepted each other for what they are...even if one of them is a scary bitch...

Well, personally, I'm not too fond of Toradora! myself. In my opinion, it's basically Yet Another Romantic Comedy with virtually no coherent story. The plot in each of the volumes are pretty formulaic (Some new 'event' comes up, Taiga and Ryuuji's relationship is misunderstood by everyone, Ryuuji and Taiga get into a fight, they make up in the next chapter and get into awkward situations, lather, rinse, repeat). And there's this other major gripe I have: Taiga's personality. Face it, the "tsundere" girl archetype is so overdone nowadays (Shana, Louise, Akiha, Nagi, etc.) it's lost most of it's meaning and significance. It's representative of most of the manga nowadays: no real plot, very little character development, attractive girls to draw more readers in, and the same plot elements recycled over and over again. You might argue that the execution is different in Toradora!, but when the plot elements themselves are boring and overused, the execution itself makes little difference.
Of course, I might be jaded, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, man.
