After watching "Ghost Hunt" I feel we need a thread like this. So share your paranormal, ghost, cryptology, urban legend, weird stuff (Did I miss anything?) experiences here! 😀

I'll start off with a true incident as told to me by a friend :

                           **Something Followed Her Home **

My friend's sister (Who was at that time in high school.) decided to take a short cut home one day by cutting through the local cemetery. When she got home her cat started acting strange. The cat was normally docile but when she enter the living room where the cat was hanging out the cat freaked out and got really aggressive. At first it stared in shock at my friend's sister then hissed and ran after her clawing and biting. It was like it was attacking something attached to her leg. Thinking it was a weird smell on her pants she took them off but the cat ignored them and continued to attack her legs. Unable to stop the cat from attacking she ran into her room and locked the door. My friend and his grandma was there to witness this. The cat completely ignored them and ran in front of the girl's door hissing and growling. When my friend went over to the cat it meowed pleadingly at him then looked back at the door and continued to growl and hiss. His sister then explained though the door that all she did was taken that cemetery short cut. When their grandma heard, she figured something "dirty" had followed her back home, so she performed this cleansing ritual with a broom and swept the "unclean" things from the house out the front door. After that his sister tried coming out of her room and found out the cat calmed down. It sniffed her being cautious but didn't find "whatever" was there earlier. It continued to search the house completely before calming down completely. After that whole incident nothing like that happened again. Weird huh?

😲 I was gonna start a thread like this!

I have quite a lot of real paranormal stories. So to start off hmm...I guess I'll pick one of my first ones.
(Note that i did not experience my stories, they were told to me by those who did)

It was the time when i was a kid(about 3-4), my neighbour downstairs( we lived in a flat) just recently gave birth. Apparently, she liked to sit next to the window with her baby even during twilight. So apparently, one day, there was this head floating next to her outside the window looking at her and the baby. She got so freaked out. I forgot what happened next but i think she moved out or something.

Oh yeah, floating heads...People back in the days believed in black magic and voodoo(mostly in the south east asia i think). This was one of the methods of "eternal youth". The deal was that your head would come off during twilight and you're free to go anywhere and suck the blood of young people. I also have a story on this but maybe next time...

Ghosts.....never really experienced it myself......heard lots of story. But I doubt most of their validity.

LOL, sorry, but I beat you to it! Interesting, I've heard many ghost stories from down under. It's it really that haunted there?

Hahaha interesting interesting!! 🙂

Actually, I've never experienced any paranormal things... but I'm TRYING to! 😀

So! This one time, I snuck into a cemetary with friends at night. Now, this is the first time I've done so... but, what I was mostly afraid of was like, axe murderers... or like, if it were too dark and I tripped and fell into a ravine or something.

I am one of those people who tries to freak myself out... haha... and get that, y'know, adrenaline fear response. (It's really fun!!) heheh...

So I was imagining zombies and whatnot attacking us the whole way through the cemetary.. .and I was like, oohh creeppy.... haha.. but, no, unfortunately, my paranormal experience didn't take off. 🙁 I'll try again next year. ^_^

Heh...I grew up watching the 4th of July fireworks from the City cemetary, so for me cemetary = picnic & fireworks, not creepy scary stuff. 🤣

We have a cat that "chases ghost mice". She acts like she's chasing (and sometimes catching) something across the floor, but nothing's there~ It's more funny than creepy though.

Second time writing this all, seemed i pressed 'preview' instead of 'submit' after writing the text. X_X

I met this girl once that had had some paranormal stuff.
She could see auras if she tried (people giving off a color matching their mood or intention or something like that).
Also some ying-yang stuff about good auras=ok & evil auras=dangerous
Something about putting yourself 'open' for the universe and letting everything reach you ... well I don't know much about it anyway 🤨

I myself have had (probably as anybody else) some deja vu's.
But still there is this one that I would like to share.

I looked outside the window one day and got this feeling while looking at our backyard that I had been through that already. That I already saw what was about to happen. The typical deja vu feeling except for that the action was still about to happen.
What I seemingly remembered was that my cat would jump out of the tree, run towards the pond, jump over a bush and then zigzag his way into the bushes next to the pond.
So I said to myself (and I remember saying that) "Cmon Edgard* (=name of my cat)* , do your thing".
And yes, not even a second after mumbling that to myself, the whole scene started ....exactly as I remembered, predicted it.

I'm positivly that what I had wasn't a real memory but some sort of deja vu, because nothing happens twice as precise as that and secondly; my cat is so passive & lazy the action itself was paranormal for that animal to begin with
🤣

Nothing paranormal, but I've also experienced a pretty wicked dream!
I've posted it before on another thread @ mangaupdates. Click here to check it out!

Ever had a cat be back in the house when you swear you just let it out (and no one else says they let the cat in)?

Cats are awesome. 😀

haha yeah, one time my cat scared the hell outta me by first biting in my hand and then jumping on me... when I was asleep 🤣

Apparantly I climbed on the roof and got in via my window. But that was nearly impossible. The window was open for about 20% (the upperside of the window was open).. and locked, so getting through that small place must have been quite hard for the cat. And on top of that (since it was the upperside of the window) she would have had to jump to the opening first ^-^

so great i just finished ghost hunt today 🙂

the only real like crazy thing i can remember was when iwas younger. i was at my mothers and it was early in the morning. i can't explain it but a pair of yellow eyes were floating down the hallway. then it went through the wall. i swear to god it was the freakiest thing i have ever seen. my room happened to be at the end also so i looked out the window and ya it kept going till it went through the bushes. i've always wondered if i was imagining things. needless to say i jumped in bed and hid under the covers haha.

anybody get that feeling they are being watched sometimes?

I never really encountered anything really paranormal... But there is these 2 relatively mysterious events:
I was walking in the garden by night, all alone, and just when I was taking a turn around the corner of the house. I saw 2 glowing white balls with a blueish aura surrounding them floating and seeming like dancing together in mid air... At that moment I freaked out and run away to bring someone to see that with me... But by the time we got there there was nothing left...
Now I believe that I might have saw what they call ball lightning... the weird thing is that there was no thunderstorm at that time... but well I guess the phenomenon is still not known well enough anyway.

Second event was while I was by the beach one night, stargazing (which is something I do really often), I saw a huge (relatively, around the size of the moon) fiery red fireball floating slowly in the distance... It looked really far from it's low speed, and I though I saw a comet back then, and didn't think about it much.
But a couple of years later, when the Hale-Bopp comet came close enough to earth, and I went to the local observatory to see it. I mentioned this story to one of the researchers working there. And he said that there was no way that was a comet, or any form of astral object either... if it was that big, it would have either been noticed or would have hit the earth (making a rather big bang). So I still have no idea what I saw back there... but I don't think the ball lightning explanation could work twice. And it's already rare enough that way, so it's almost impossible for the same person to witness it twice.

Oh but if you want some "spirits" stories, my grand mother has a lot of those.

EDIT: Almost forgot the MOST important thing lol... Cats ftw

Haha yeah ball lightning 🙂

I heard a story from my mom that when she was a child a ball lightning got inside the kitchen via a drainage pipe.
They all took cover by standing on a table in the livingroom 😛

Hmm I also have a personal 'ball lightning' experience... I think....
I was in the bathroom and there was a storm outside.
Suddenly some brigh firefall smashed down right under the window on the piece of wall underneath. Didn't hear anything though so it must have been practicly weightless.
Anyway afterwards I did'nt see any trace left on the wall nor window... and ball lightning normally do leave some kind of trace, at least with an impact?
The whole impact also troubles me; normally seen ball lightning tends to rise or float, well at least not crash down.

Sounds like an alien energy canon..........

While on the subject of cats.......Ever heard of the superstition that if you look through the space between the cat's two ears you can see things that they can see? Like the shadow people they are playing with.....Anyone tried this? Personally I wouldn't recommend picking one up and peer around with them up against your face like a pair of binoculars cuz that'll just be asking for a mauled up face.

o.O....never heard of that, but I've heard of chinese beliefs where if you put tears of a dog in your own eyes, you can see ghosts/spirits.
