...where the girl ends up with a guy whom she is very unlikely to end up with. And I don't mean those manga where it's pretty obvious who she's going to end up with just by reading the summary, even if he's not the one she's aiming for in the beginning.

Or if there's a manga where the main leads don't end up together. I don't know any examples...but HYD. Although Rui isn't the main lead, she actually did like him in the beginning, and then they kind of drifted...
Or Sand Chronicles because

they broke up although I don't know what happens in the end..

Sorry if this is all confusing, but I was getting sort of annoyed by all the manga where they end up together, when they met in high school, and get married and have kids...I mean, it's not that common is it?

She does indeed end up with the guy she went out with. I don't remember the names. However, she does not end up with the rich guy. No matter how much I wished she did, she doesn't.

Well, it's shoujo manga, everything is always so damn predictable.
Only manga where the ending couple was not what I was expecting was Atashi wa Bambi but I was happy with the ending regardless. :]
