One of a kind, and I don't mind the weird swords. But what is with the ending?! Couldn't the guy just have escaped Why didn't he?! Other than that confusing part, it's a decent story.

Refreshing and Interesting
I really enjoyed it.
Sometimes, I get tired of the same plot motifs. This story took some unexpected turns. Although, it seemed to move slowly, the mystery of what was going on kept me reading. I admit, the plot can be hard to follow. But that's because the author didn't spoon feed the reader every little piece of information. Some of the story is subtly conveyed, other parts are left for the reader to determine. I particularly liked the ending. Not what I expected, but it is an acceptable ending!
Definitely worth spending the hour or two to read!!!
I dont know what to described about this story...
I DONT UNDERSTAND AT ALL..
But still this manga did not make me feel sleepy because the more i read it the more i didnt understand it...so my mind was like trying hard to figure out the story n everything so while 'that' in process it make my mind awake...i think...haha
PLEASE DO ENJOY...
The art was mentioned on other comments, and it is kind of rough, but in a very good way, it gives edginess to the characters. It was full of suspense, I was seeing enemies everywhere and you never know for whom should you root or trust... that was refreshing. That's why I don't think the pace was slow, it's just that is full of subtleties. Except for the last chapter, it felt rushed. The ending... I still don't know what to think about the ending. I can only say do not expect a fulfilling ending, you'll be disappointed. Overall a good read.
The story was great. I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't all about the romance, and that the plot was strongly developed. Full of lots of twists and turns. The ending, though, gives me mixed feelings...

It's so sad, in a lot of ways. We don't know if Luca and Kazuna are alive or dead, and poor Dorii... I can't help feeling that if I were in Setsu and fake-Luca's collective shoes, I would not be so happy.
The art was unusual, not everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it, too. Although some of the faces were hard to tell apart...
Overall, though, well worth reading.
I'm too disappointed with the ending. So, because it's Midorikawa Yuki's, I read it. The pace weirdly slow, eventhough it's just 3 volume. But I tried to keep ongoing eventhough I felt kind of bored. Into 3rd volume, the mood raised up, then the ending came, bah. I do not like the ending. Maybe just because It doesn't meet my hope, but

She 'Luca'-'Luca' all the series and ended in new journey with another man? Wha...
Even so, I like the part how she always remembering Luca, and IMO, the mangaka told it very well about how deep the feelings she had for him. So Midorikawa-sensei, so deep and heartwrenched when telling about the characters feelings, and that's

make me feel more bah with the ending
The artwork... IMO not good, yet kind of shady and calming. Awww if I have to describe her artwork, for me it's like the grass field where Setsu and Luca often played. So peaceful yet kind of fly, fly, fly
Very refreshing plot, with some great twists. All the characters were likeable and I thought the art wasn't too bad. But I do agree with the comments about the plot being confusing--it definitely gets a bit muddled at the end, and it's hard to keep track of everything. Not impossible though, and definitely worth a read.
A suspenseful and refreshing read.
One of my favorite mangas of all time, just wish it was longer!
But the nonetheless the shortness suited the manga, and the suspense and twists were very refreshing to see in a shoujo manga. Art is not the most polished, but at the same time it is very original and the author has her own distinct style. It gives a fading yet rough effect.
I love Setsu and the fake-Luca's relationship. The romance is not over done and very very subtle. Some may not even see it. And Setsu is indeed more like a hero and fake-Luca the heroine, which is once again very refreshing and one of the reasons I love this manga. That does not mean that fake-Luca is a wimp, however.
The ending to me was honestly... rather heartbreaking. But it was inevitable and the ending was not entirely a tragedy, it was somewhat bittersweet. It was an ending that suited the manga and pretty much had to happen.
I recommend this manga to anyone who likes suspence-mysteries and strong heroines. The bittersweet ending and the heartfelt emotion is what makes this manga stay with you long after the last page. The thing about Midorikawa's mangas are the emotions put into it, she has a strong talent in portraying realistic emotions, whether it's loneliness or compassion. This manga has so many mixed emotions and subtleties that I feel people need to pick up to really enjoy this.

i want more!!
at first,i thought it was your simple, typical tomboy girl looking for her childhood friend. yup,it is simple.but the mangaka made a very interesting storyline, thus making it UNIQUE. (As to be expected of midorikawa yuki..: )) i really wish that she would be reunited with Luca (And that the series did not end as to where it was supposed to be)
i would really recommend it to all ages. : )
it made me go "wow" and UPON REACHING THE LAST PAGE, "shocks! its already the end?!?". this reaction was unusual, for there are shojo mangas that i have encountered that made me say "I already know the ending! end it already!"
I really want to buy her mangas and support her,but i haven't found anyone who sells her works here in our country.: (
Well-paced manga with interesting plot
The reviews say the plot is "confusing" or "the art sucks" well... I say, are those reviewers expecting every shoujo title to be a straightforward (i.e. cute but boring) work filled with nothing but bishounen?
I found the plot extremely refreshing, and the pace had me clicking for more. The heroine, like what the author says, is more of a hero, with the fake!Luca being the heroine instead XD.
Every character was interesting, in that they had their own motivations for the things they did, and some characters are not what they seem. Luca, whom Setsu almost kind of idolises... is especially not what he seems. I think this title would be enjoyed by people who love european-ambient political stories, and want something beyond self-indulgent eyecandy manga.
I don't think the end was tragedy though. There were just some things that had to happen. And that's what lends this manga a realistic feel.
