Hi all! I've just catched up reading +a no Tachiichi, and honestly I loved it so much (and I'm also a little greedy) that I can't get enough and want more... Well, not exactly. This manga has given me inspiration to request three different recommendations. (Can I ask different recs in one thread?)

1) First Recomendation: Main Character does all the hard work/has all the power/does all the stuff they have to do, but another character is the one who takes all the credit. (+Plus (but not mandatory): Poor main character gets ignored or side-lined instead.) Could be ANY genre at all: shoujo, shounen, yaoi/shonen ai, yuri/shoujo ai, seinen/josei, etc.

Examples:
Typical shoujo where A writes letters (pretending to be B) adressed to C and they fall in love and all that drama? Yes please. A guy travels to another world, is too OP but everyone thinks another is the OP one? Heck yes. Someone saves people but another is the one cheered on/being appreciated/taking the credit? Of course I want it. A Mafia boss who really gets things done but everyone/all the mafia (even the enemies) thinks that another guy is the boss 'cause of his looks or something and takes all the credit? Yup, want it, give it to me.
Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

Whatever plot and genre, I don't care. But it has to be one character doing all the job and another character taking the credit for it.

2) Second Recommendation: Manga with a "ugly" female main character or a "ugly" female love interest. (Where also everyone around her thinks she's plain/unattractive/ugly) Any genre is fine, I don't mind.
*I'm putting the " " because honestly, I don't think anyone's ugly, everyone's beautiful in their own way. Anyway, moving on...

3) Third Recommendation: An OP main character who is humble/not arrogant/not over-confident and/or who has low self-esteem/confidence issues. Again, any genre is fine.

I know it's a lot to ask. I tried looking in the tags but couldn't really find what I was looking for, and also in the info page of +a Alpha Status it didn't have many recs of the same plot or anything like it.

You don't have idea how much I would appreciate it if you could recommend to me something (anything!) with any of these plot devices.

If you recommend, please specify which # Recommendation you're talking about, either 1, 2, or 3.

Thank you so much!!!

I can't help you with the first and third recommendation but the second one would fit 7 Seeds.

For #2 not ugly, more plain, but maybe try Skip Beat and Cheese in the Trap. That's the closest I've got.

For #3 check out Helck and maybe Holyland

I already knew those (idk why but I'm seeing the name Skip Beat everywhere, lol) from another recs, so they're already in my "wishlist". Now I've got more reasons to read them, yay~

Helck and Holyland seems so interesting by their description/info page, so I'll make sure to check them out.

Thank you so much!! 🙂

Bungou Stray Dogs for request #3. His self-esteem improves gradually throughout the story, though.

+a no tachiichi might fit into all 3 categories... Then again, I'm lazy so~ you may not want to take my word for it. It's short too, like 11 chapters out, and almost completely scanlated.

Like the other guy said, Helck fit perfectly with #3, but it might be #1 if you go deep enough to the latest chapter.

For #2, I suggest you to read Kasane (MATSUURA Daruma)

For #3: Spiral - Suiri no Kizuna -- Note that OP here is in the "genius" sense rather than the "can fight like a demon" sense.

For #2: Tomodachi no Hanashi -- She's more "plain" than "ugly," though.

Kengai Princess fits your request #2 quite well.

Koi dano Ai dano was the first one to pop up on your second recommendation! You should also read its prequel, Warau Kanoko-sama

For #2 I can think of these
Kubera- the author always jokes about how she draws Kubera's face prettier than it actually is.
Eohwadungdungnae Boreumi is one I already suggested to you with a protagonist who is thought of as ugly by the love interest
One of the mains of Dangsinman Molla! also fits this as she always has a very plain face and is very self-conscious
Semi-Eternal Happy End protagonist also fits this.

Gokusen for no. 2. The female lead may be plain, but she's a cool badass.

I looked but the closest thing I could find for 1 was this
Mahou Shoujo Kazumi Magica - The Innocent Malice- apparently one of the main characters has her novel stolen by her editor and published (he even asks her for more work) and this leads her to become a magical girl
