Whatever floats your boat. I just personally find it quite dumb but if you want to make a fool of yourself in public, this is a very good way. As you can see in the poll, more people do not run like ninjas. There must be a reason for that (because its not a very good idea). Anyway I wont stop you, so run about all you like.

Got to side with xtr3m3dude here. Anyone running like that comes off as very "short bus special". There’s no reason to run like that even if you think you MAY look cool in your mind. You simply can't run fast enough to warrant running that strangely.

No reason to get offensive. If you look at the global population, the majority of people in the world don't bath regularly, nor do they have medicine. I suggest you heed your own advice and go with the majority - stop bathing and seeking medical care. You could just say "no I don't" instead of calling people dumb and wishing violence on them. I'm sure no one is "trying to look cool" when they run like a ninja. More likely they are just having fun. running like a ninja is just a way of running, nothing more. there are people who run like that, and there are ppl who run differently, everyone have their own way of running.

And I'm saying that there is no practicality to fun, so don't judge people when they are having it. Is there a practicality to 8 year olds making faces at passing motorists out the back of the car window? Is there practicality to playing with water balloons on a hot summer day? Is Birthday cake practical?

The answer is no to all of these. But they are still fun. Just like running like a ninja is fun.

That would be in the eye of the beholder so to speak. Which would seem to be your point. The kids make faces to amuse themselves, water balloons can cool you off and are great for wet t-shirt contests, and the cake can fill you up.

I didn't notice till only recently but when i run, my left arm seems to move in front of me like im holding a shield and my right arm goes limp behind me... apparently ive run like that for a while.

When I saw a video clip of penguins running... ninja penguins =O

But I don't suggest you should run like that in a running competition, because swinging your arms adds speed too, which would make you slower than the others,.. plus you'll look ridiculous to the spectators.. I tried to recently but it didnt really work out.
