I've tried running like a ninja; it didn't do me any good. 🤢 In fact, I felt rather tired. Or maybe I'm just lazy 😀
I've noticed that if someone ran like Naruto, and charged straight for the enemy, the enemy could kick/punch/attack them straight in the face, cause the arms aren't there to guard, and anyway, if they were running fast I'm sure that the arms were too lagged from all the wind blowing against them.. I even tried with my brother... 🤨
Although, it doesn't seem to make as much noise as when running properly... But running like that would cause the hitting of by-passers and other objects. It hurts [and gets in the way of the mission].

I was pretending to be an airplane* the other day and decided to leave the room i was in for another at a fairly rapid pace. since my arm span is greater then the width of the doorway and adjacent hallway my 'wings' were forced to close as iIwent through. Once I realized what i was doing I laughed so hard I cried.

*yeah i'm 20, of a normal intelligence and pretend to be an airplane on occasion, other times i pretend to be a bunny, velociraptor and so on.

No. When I'm in the middle of an assassination, I don't charge in like a ninja, but I hide in the shadows and wait for my target to let his guard down. Then I walk in slowly, like a normal bystander, and when he turns around, I go for the kill with the hidden blade in my sleeve. Even when I run from the cops after the kill I don't run like a ninja. I run in a way that won't make me lose my balance like ninja running does.

hmmmmmmmmmmm what if ninja's didn't run at all? And what if Naruto's "running" is just a pitiful metaphor to what ninja's really do. I mean they sneak in the shadows and stealth HOW WOULD U KNOW how they really ran? If you saw one you'd probably be dead the next moment.
