Er... I don't know what level I'm in =s I could use Word & Excel really good (above average!) 🤣 but that doesn't count...

hm... I'm 🤢 in hardware (all cables & wires look the same)... at least I can function the computer. Enough to not need help for many years! (since no major things have happened to my computer yet... touch wood)

On the subject... I think I can say I'm quite good at computers. I'll be able to say I'm a pro when I graduate though.

I can get by and do what I need to do. But I know next to nothing about hardwares if it includes something more complicated than plugging and playing it.

I'm no pro, but I can fix most problems on my own, know a bit about hardware, and am familar with basic web programming. And I've know alt+F4 for a long time now...

Been a pro since age 8 when I kicked the computer and ...it worked.(for another 5 mins)

I can build a computer like I can rebuild a car engine. Most problems can be worked though with a net connection and some basic skills.

I have both a laptop and a desktop a computer... and I don't understand a lick of any type of computer "lingo." Like, I just recently found out what the tray thingy at the bottom was called - system tray. 🤣 And I just recently learned how to use all the commands in blue writting located on some of my keys on my laptop - thanks to fjgs. I know how to use programs (some at least 🤣 ), ect.. but when it comes to a computer itself.. yea.. I'm dumb! Anytime I have a problem with my computers I go to Geek Squad at Best Buy.. and sadly, a lot of the problems I could have fixed myself if I wasn't so dumb with 'em.. which I wouldn't be, if I actually took the time to learn it.. but eh, the people at Geek Squad love me (and laugh at me 🤣 ) cause I give them lots of business (a lot 5 minute fixers 🤣 ).

If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

Well i guess i can work my way around most problems i have with my computer, most of which related to my Internet connection (living in the middle of nowhere does not help). i do use it mostly to surf the net, get my manga and anime fix and play... On some rare occasions I've even been know to use it to actually complete my school assignments....

Ok now I'm really curious. What the hell is a GNU license?

When I started college (the first time) it was rare for anyone to have their own pc, & the computer labs all had monochrome monitors & dot matrix printers and used the 5 1/4" floppies! 🤣 I don't think I even touched a computer during high school.

Some I learned from my brother (who's more into computers than I am), some from my mom (who isn't really into computers but worked ~15 years as a firmware programmer), some from my step-dad & step-brother (computer geeks, and I mean that in the best possible way), some I've picked up from friends, a lot I've gotten from google, and quite a bit I've learned on my own by "click & explore". 😀
