I'm looking for a manga where the protagonist has to enter into a relationship for sacrificial reasons (e.g. girl sacrificed to a dragon god to keep her village safe; maidservant who lets her master take advantage of her because she thinks that if he fires her, she'll lose the means to support her family). However, eventually real romantic feelings develop within the protagonist for the person they've been "sacrificed" to.

Basically, a manga where the main character enters into the relationship for OTHER people's good (NOT just his/her own survival), but then ends up falling in love for real. Doesn't matter if the person they're falling in love with still sees them only as a sacrifice or not - they still fall in love.

Gay or straight relationships are fine. (My scenarios were girl-guy scenarios, but I'm also okay with guy-guy or girl-girl!)

Examples: Bride of the Water God and The Royal Fiancé (dubiously).

ANY genre EXCEPT hentai is welcome.
