Yes they have mary sue, yes the MCs win the day because almost everyone else is stupid, yes they have harem and yes they can be quite ridiculous... but if you clicked this link you still like them right? 😀

My top3 happened because I like the idea of spirit masters (nr 1 and 3 has them) and underdogs winning the day. Nr 2 is just the most quality one out there, it just had to be on the list.

Honourable Mentions: Autophagy Regulation / The King's Avatar (watch the anime, it's even better) - these two are not your typical wuxia or xianxia, else I would be adding them in the ranking.

I didn't need to think the names of first two, they were always there inside my head. Now, the dilemma is that the 3rd name which I was looking for, I couldn't remember it or seem to find it. So, had to narrow down the best from the rest.
The likes of Doulou Dalu, BTTH, TDG, WDQK, Spirit Blade Mountain, Xian Ni, Divine Thorne, Coiling Dragon, SW, Magic Chef of Ice and Fire, Kuang Shen etc are no good, they are fun when you read it, but you don't wanna re-read them and you'll rate them lower by the passage of time.

Oh interesting, I didn´t consider the more mature approaches as I came to know of the wuxia genre with colored manhua. Ok, that´s a lie. After seeing your list I got into wuxia via The Breaker which would be considered my favorite I guess. I haven´t known it is wuxia before you told me... Will check your list out, thanks!

I enjoy reading the likes of them (refering to Tales of demons and gods etc) though, some light-heartedness can be fun at times.

I myself love Colors as well.
If you like The Breaker series, give a try to Gosu and Yongbi. You'll love them.
And also Trinity Wonder and Id, they got a fusion of Wuxia and Fantasy.

I love TDG too, both the Web Novel and Manhua, but I'm kinda mad at Mad Snail as he is ignoring the Novel and writing it with the speed of a snail.
I love soft hearted ones too, after all I started my journey with them. But, when ranking many factors comes into play.
For example among the vast amount of mangas(generalizing) I love(d) to read names like One Piece, Tower of God, Naruto, Noblesse, Fairy Tail, Shokugeki No Soma, Bleach are very popular and loved by the whole (manga) community/world. But, if I'm asked to rank them, I'll put Berserk, Monster, Vinland Saga, Blade of The Immortal, Vagabond etc. on top spots. I love these masterpieces, the quality and level of the story matters, plus the author's ability as the narrator or the story teller.
One Punch-Man and Mob Psycho 100 by ONE are all-rounder light hearted seinen masterpieces. 😁
